Looking for sub $75.
Want a one piece that I can take on and off while hunting.
Quiet as possible.
low profile as possible.
4 arrow min.
Going on a Alphamax35.
Whats out there and what sould I check out? I havent been in the quiver buying game in 10 years and I need some help.

You have to go another $60 and get a tight spot. You have to. You have no choice in this.

I agree!
Just spend the money and get the best quiver TIGHTSPOT!

I'm far from being an expert on archery equipment, so take this for what it's worth...
I have an Alpine "Bear Claw." It was only $30 and sounds like it might meet your requirements.

what makes it worth $135?
Where to purchase one?

It is VERY quiet, has a extremely solid bracket for easy on/off and fits as tight to your bow as a traditional style 2 piece quiver making you bow much less bulky.
-
The way it fastens to the bow eliminates torque and helps pull your groups in. The mounting system also eliminates vibration. It's better balanced when it's mounted. It holds the arrows tighter - I have yet to have an arrow pop off. They beat the pants off any other I've tried.
Google them and you can find a distributor. Down here, it's Archery World or Bob's in Longview, I think.

work with a Wisker Biscuit setup?
Martin Blade X4
-
No arrow vibrations in a TightSpot either also a lot of adjustment to do practically anything you want.

You wont believe how much a regular quiver wants to tip your bow over. After shooting with a tight spot for so long a regular quiver feels horrible to me.
Just the balance alone makes it worth every penny, not to mention the quality and adjustability. Only downside(besides price) is that sticker on the hood, at least it comes off easy. :chuckle: If you can afford it you wont be disappointed.

Ok, lets pretend I was being honest in the first line of my first post. What are some other options besides the tightspot and something a little cheaper. Unless someone has a used tightspot for sale....
-
Heres one like the tight spot. I believe its 79.99.

I cant see that link on this computer, but is it similar to this?

If so, what are your thoughts on this quiver?
-
Yes thats it. Ive never used one so I cant really comment. I just like the fact that its lightweight and fits tight to your bow. BUT, I dont know about the longevity of the release lever, the whole thing is plastic with tiny pins holding it together.
After looking at it more closely I would say pass.

They fully back the quiver.

I believe he was talking about the Octane not the tightspot.
I will be hunting 90% in a treestand and will have the quiver off the bow while doing so, so a tightspot, while very nice and a dream quiver for me, is not needed with that price. Pianoman, do you have any other suggestions for a less expensive quiver that I can easily remove from the bow and hold 5 arrows? There are too many options out there!

Get a Bohning Lynx at Wal-Mart for $30. If you're always going to take it off the bow, it doesn't matter.
-
Yes I was talking about the octane.
My tight spot will probably outlive me! :)
-
Ive been using the Octane for a year now and its an awesome quiver. If your looking for something thats easy to get on and off you may want to do a search for an Alpine Soft Loc quiver. would fit your budget and your needs well I think. Kenny 8)

There's no point to buy the tightspot or octane if you're going to take it off.
I suggested the Alphine Soft Loc or Kwikee kwiver.
-
Just picked up a year old soft loc for 30 bucks in great condition from AT. Hopefully this will do me well.
-
How do you like at? I am in the process of ordering a bow but am having a hard time sending a random guy 600 then he sends the bow. Can't help but be skeptical
-
My 4 purchases last week on AT were flawless.
Just check the sellers rating/feedback and only buy from ones with 100% positive. I had zero feedback but these 4 guys were willing to work with me, I now have 4 positives. Sent them money via paypal and had the bow, sight, quiver and case at my door within 7 business days.
That site and their classifieds are set up very well, Plus, the mods over there will help you out if something shady happens.
What bow are you looking at and who is the seller?
-
I picked up a hoyt quiver, looks really close to a tight spot but 40 bucks less which for me translated to $80 bucks less cause my boy needed one too.

Anybody try the G5 head-loc???? Just got one and looks awesome. Payed 49.99 . The only thing i don't like is the hood is a little shallow leaving your broadhead exposed a bit. Anybody have one and expierenced any problems
-
I installed the quiver today, there is a slight rattle in the hood and I can't get it perfect. It's not loud, but if you twang and arrow I hear a rattle.
Other than that slight annoyance, I really like it
