Hey all just giving you the heads up about Tacoma Sportsman's next 3-d shoot.
-
I'll print a copy and hang it at granite falls sportsman's club for you.
-
Thank you, that would be great.
-
No problem. I just like to see clubs work together to maximize turn out for events. And with granite falls archery program just getting started I need all the friends I can get.
-
If you can post up any flyers of your shoots. I can print out and put up at our club house. Or just email me one to bowpredator2002@yahoo.com and I can print one out. If you send your address I can put it on our mailing list and have our office send some of our flyers to you.
-
That goes for any clubs on here. It is good to have a network of clubs and pro shops helping to promote one another's events. You can also find us on face book at Tacoma sportsmen archery.
-
Just a reminder about the Glen St. Charles 3-d this weekend at Tacoma Sportsmens Club. This has been a traditional shoot in the past, but due to low turn outs from the traditional community we have opened it up to the compound shooters also. There will be prizes, raffles and we will be running our target flinger wih a Rinehart ball target up for grabs. Hope to see many of you there.
-
I hope I can make it. Is there awards for all classes?
-
We are going to give out awards but not as we normally do. We will be giving out awards in Adult Male Recurve , Adult Female Recurve , Adult Male Longbow , Adult Female Longbow , Adult Male Compound, Adult Female Compound, youth ,cub, pee wee's will get awards as usual.

Anyone going? I'm considering it but, only had my new bow a week, and never have shot a 3D before. Don't know the first thing about them or the walk-though course there. Sounds like a good time though.
-
The walk through will be well marked, and the target settings are usually set at hunting distances with 1 or 2 long ones thrown in. There will also be a runner target but not sure what one we will use. Lots of fun and great hunting practice.
-
Thanks for the reply bow, do you have to shoot both days to qualify for the awards, not that it matters for me, just courious. Also, do you just register and go shoot, or is there a start time, like I said, I don't know anything about a 3d shoots. It seems like a lot of fun, I have been shooting a lot this week and starting to get pretty comfortable with the new bow, need to get it dialed in though.
-
Yes you do have to shoot both days to qualify for awards. You can start shooting anytime after you register. Registration stars at 7 am Saturday. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask someone at registration as they are more than willing to explain gow to do the shoot.
-
Sneek peek at trophies.
-
I do love your trophies down there. I have a few of them on my wall at home.
-
Glad to hear. We try to switch them so they are not all the same. There are a couple shoots that we keep the same.
-
:tup:This is why i love this site. I love to go to the 3-D shoots. I'm not a lot of competition but it is a ton of fun especially for the kids. Thanks for the info. I have commitments later in the day but will be there early to run through the course both days.
-
Hope to see you there.
-
Targets going up as I write this.
-
How many targets?
-
Quit typing here and get them up! Lol
see you tomorrow! Hope you find some of my arrows from last shoot.;D
-
Just wondering, do you have to shoot in a group or can you shoot solo? Are range finders allowed?
-
30 targets both days. No arrows found , but come on Joel I've shot with you and you don't miss much. No range finders allowed, we did call a few guys out on it at our last shoot even though they were not in it for awards because it causes nothing but issues with other shooters who might be in it for the trophy, if you sre in it for the trophy and you are found with a rangefinder you will be disqualified from receiving a trophy.Yes you can shoot by yourself but we encourage people to shoot with groups. Awards will be done on Sunday around 230/3. See you all there.
-
Cool, I'm not there for the trophy but understand the no range finder rule. Hopefully there will be a group I can find to shoot with. Sounds like fun, see ya there.
-
Not sure if I'll make it down but I hope to.
-
D-Rock , if you make it down ask for Rodger, would like to put a face with a name.
-
is there still room for a motorhome to park overnight?
-
Stick em, what time you planning on going, I'm still debating it. I really got no business shooting, but I really want to
-
Yes there is room for rv, trailer. Will be dragging mine over.

Can I drop of a couple flyers for some granite shoots?
-
Yep, bring some down and we can put some up at our flat range and at registration.
-
Awesome. Our range doesn't even compare to tsc but you gotta start somewhere.
-
SIGMAN, I just checked and there is a non club member fee to camp and it is usually $7 for dry camp and $12 for water power hook up , but Rick , our past president said if you are shooting the shoot then you can have the hook up for $7.
-
Its Nick, not Joel. ???
-
My bad Nick, Joel is also on here, thought it was him. But same goes for you, you shoot to well to be loosing any arrows.
-
