Title: Wife's carry pistol
Post by: troyspinetar on March 22, 2013, 12:11:51 PM: I'm taking my wife out to rent a couple different semi-autos in 9mm or .380 to see what she's comfortable with. She has a .38 revolver, but she doesn't like the bulk of the revolver cylinder for concealment.
I was curious as to what semi-autos your wives like to shoot/carry.

Not sure the kimber solo is a friendly ladies gun. My sister like shooting a full size 45 more than she liked the solo. That solo is a violent little sucker...if you aren't holding on it will darn near fly out of your hands. :twocents:

Forgot to add, she isn't carrying yet. She wants to carry, but needs time shooting first.

Great CCW! :tup: I am a big fan of the 238, but I gotta watch mine cause somehow the safety at times will get flicked off during the motions of a regular day riding in my holster. My wife is a big fan of her Beretta Bobcat in 25acp, but she would like to move up to the 32 Tomcat or the .380 Cheetah. The Bobcat and Tomcat models are very woman friendly with the flip up barrel to load your first round, no slide to pull. Just drop a round in the barrel, close it, load a full clip and ready to go!
