So...what to do with a heavy aluminum fry pan that is loosing its teflon coating.....primer it up and shoot it of course. My folks were out for a visit and I wanted to show my old man some area where I took my fall bear. So, we grabbed our boots, the AR, some of my handloads ( 26 gr Varget, 55 gr Nosler pill, 2650 fps), and the fry pan. We perched up on our rocky outcrop and put the pan at 215. A nail in the stump and it hung like a champ. Well, the rounds went right through like butter. The larger holes are from the .45 that we couldn't resist shooting. No mess, no cleanup, just ome fun shooting.
