The front mount reels are all about the same. You need to get bowfishing line. Do not try to use anything else but bowfishing line. There is a couple different types fast flight and Dacron. You want the thinner line for that style of reel not the heavy Dacron.

That line will work but it is a little heavy. Most of the drum style reels come stock with like 80-120lb test line. When you get a new drum it should come with line for you.

Here check out this store. The owner scott is a great guy and I have been working with him for years.

There is a screw in reel there with line for like 20.00

There is a tape on style reel on there now, dose there have to be  pre drilled holes for the screw in type reels?, there is only 1 screw hole,

Your bear should have one hole in the front to screw in the reel stud. The tape on is for recurves and bows without a stabilizer hole.

Oh of course love to help! All you need is a rest unless you bear is a recurve "didn't ask" then you just shoot off the shelf. arrows/reel and line. Some good polarized sunglasses will be worth there weight in gold!!!
