Title: my first buckboard bacon
Post by: sled on April 01, 2013, 06:36:38 PM
Got it all sliced up, and going to feed some to the kid for a test run tonight.  It looks good but I think it's going to be more like ham :dunno:

Look's good. When you get it bigger like that it still tastes like bacon but eats more like ham :chuckle: Which there is nothing wrong with that! That reminds me I have about 80lbs of pork to do in the next few weeks before things get crazy :yike:

Wow kc I really hope your joking.   Bad joke by the way.
I was surprised no one else had said anything, glad to see it was cleaned up.

This bacon stuff looks good, and interesting. Can you explain the process?
