Title: Public land South of Seven Bays/Fort Spokane
Post by: Diehard0123 on April 09, 2013, 11:03:12 PM
I need my Rio for the slam and I am looking for an area to hunt South of Seven Bays, any suggestions?  I am trying to conserve fuel so SE washington is not an option.

Couple of big chunks of "hunting by permisson" areas over that way. One just south of the Hawk Creek campground and another just north of the Porcupine Bay campground.  I don't have the numbr listed to call them as I personally don't hunt down that way, but if you've been over there scouting much you've probably seen them.  Lots of hybrids in that area so no guarantee you'll just find Rio's by hunting around there.  Public land is kind of hit and miss around there, I also belive there's a good pay by the day area by a guide/landowner who's on here frequently.  Area gets hit pretty hard by hunters for the first couple of weeks.

 :yeah:

The small public land chunks get a TON of pressure. If you don't like calling in other hunters go south to Dayton area for Rio's.l
