You can Find the forms to join the WSAA and to register for the State 3d on our club web site on the main page. http://silverarrowbowmen.com/ (http://silverarrowbowmen.com/)
We have some VERY cool stuff in the works for the state 3D. We also had some club members out on the course working on something so killer i don't think any other archery club around has for their course...
-
A rope tow?
-
Well?
-
We had our indoor flint rounds at the club house today. Before the shooting another member and i posted up some more signs to help people stay safe and direct them on the course. On Sat of the this last weekend we put out some more straw bail buts. I believe that we now have 46 target buts on our walk through course. We have 4 more to complete for our course expansion. I think there was 10 or so members at the work party. If you haven't been to our course come check us out. We are EASY to find and are just a couple of miles off I-5. $2 for ALL DAY shooting per person!

Getting close. I think this will be a great shoot. I read the other day that 12 rings will be scored this year.
-
Is there a rule on bino magnification?
-
We will be Raffling off a Bow at the Awards ceremony on Sunday.
-
Do we know what bow yet?
-
I never could find a rule in writing on bino magnification. :dunno:
-
There is NO requirement on the bino magnification. Thats why i use a 10x50! :yike:
There are some slight changes to the rules from the past. There will be a 12 ring, it used to be the X in most of our scoring.
The WSAA rules are posted on page 3 here.

I've been shooting everyday not sure if it will help or not but I'm still shooting.
-
I always shoot 10-20 points lower if I'm taking my girl with me... Sooo I'm curiouse to see what my score ends up at with out too many distractions.
-
Yeah km not sure if I'm taking the older one or not. Could be a long day.
-
Remeber its a SHOTGUN start BOTH days at 9am! If you goning tojust show up to shoot, you need to come by Firday evening, OR 7am ish in the morning to get signed up and flighted. :twocents:
-
30 targets each day??
-
Yep.
-
If I were smart I would have shot the course last weekend and mapped stuff out with the rangefinder.
-
30 Targets both days. If you have not signed up yet you can sign up at the event early in the morning before the shotgun start. I would think some time around 7:30am would be good. You don't have to be a WSAA member to shoot, but do need to belong to compete for a trophy. You can Join At the Clubhouse when you Sign in.
The WSAA is a good organization that represents bow-hunters. It also provides technical support to all the clubs. The WSAA are the clubs wealth of experience. Insurance, Event planning, and contests are all the paperwork kind of issues that they help provide answers to.
There is some tent camping available and there are places to park your Motorhome/trailer at the Site.

We are going to be setting up the course tomorrow. It doesn't look like the weather will be horrible. It is supposed to be some light scatter showers which isn't bad in the timber. We are going to set up 45 targets so that over the 2 days of shooting we will hit the whole course and not have much overlap.
-
I'm ready see you about 7 :archery_smiley:
-
The Shoot went well. I shot my best score Sat and then dropped about 26 points the second day. :bash: The PSE Omen was raffled off. Mark won the bow. A Big Thank You To all that attended and supported This Shoot!
