Hey I'm looking for some advice. I'm somewhat new to taxidermy and doing a couple shoulder mounts right now. I didn't wanna buy the hide paste they sell at mckenzie, wondering if anyone has any ideas or recipes for making homemade glue with normal any common store supplies? I'm not looking to make a huge batch, just enough for a couple deer heads for now??

I have never used it but I heard of people using caulking. I think it would work just fine. Just dont use any thing that dries to fast.

it sounds like you just wanna save money i dont think i would try one of these cheap short cuts on my work theres a cheap hidepaste from research mannikins 25 dollars a gallon you could do 8 deer or so its not the greatest but ive used it in the past and would work fine for your own personel work
