Four of five birds from two days of midweek hunting!! :IBCOOL: Birds were red hot and lots of lonely gobblers runnin around. :tup: They were all too happy to come check out some hot hens secretly disguised as a Phelps Game Calls slate! :chuckle:

man you guys got me nervous :dunno: I hope I did not make a mistake this year by waiting a week before heading over ... Most of you guys done well on HW but I know others who said it was tough .. Guess it shows who has the experience :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: Thats great ...we are packed up and headed out Thursday morning ... I have called and checked out whats going on where I hunt and it sounds like all is well !

The toms are out there and workable, but be patient ... they seemed to be getting better later last week, but a little more quiet than normal (probably due to late snow and colder weather). I have no doubt that you'll be in and harvesting birds ...

Yelp I'll definitely stop by your camp this time. You gonna be there Thursday through Sunday this week? Were headed back up Thursday mid morning.

Also there is plenty of merriams left lol. We had to leave friday afternoon, but we still had lots of birds pegged on all my spots :IBCOOL:
