I just got a call from my cousin to hunt "worldclass elk and deer" at his place in montana. I just need to know if i can get a license still. I can't tell by looking at their site. If so, how much roughly? He says the last elk he got scored 390 so im really excited.

yes, I think the only thing that you can not buy is a bear tag once modern season starts.

If your talking about a montana tag the draw was quite awhile back for nonresidents. If your a resident of montana i'm sure you can still buy a tag but not positive.
-
Probably only a non-resident deer "B" tag for a doe.
-
For elk you are out of luck if you are a nonresident, you may be able to buy an otc deer b tag, depending on area.

A doe tag is the only thing you can still buy over the counter. And in some cases even those will sell out....in certain units. Apps need to be in by March 15th....heads up for next year.

Look here
http://fwp.mt.gov/hunting/licenses/nonresidents.html
says you must apply by March 15th.
