Title: Can i still buy otc deer/elk tags in montana?
Post by: Ellensburg on October 06, 2008, 09:47:43 PM: I just got a call from my cousin to hunt "worldclass elk and deer" at his place in montana. I just need to know if i can get a license still. I can't tell by looking at their site. If so, how much roughly? He says the last elk he got scored 390 so im really excited.

Post by: skinzner on October 06, 2008, 10:12:33 PM: If your talking about a montana tag the draw was quite awhile back for nonresidents. If your a resident of montana i'm sure you can still buy a tag but not positive.

Post by: Muleyslyr on October 07, 2008, 10:38:26 AM: A doe tag is the only thing you can still buy over the counter. And in some cases even those will sell out....in certain units. Apps need to be in by March 15th....heads up for next year.
