Now that's some funny chit right there, but very true. I've stuck my foot in my mouth a few times on here after a few whisky and water's.

Cranberry juice with a little sprite, and over ice.  I also like it in orange juice.  FYI I don't know a women who doesn't love vodka especially the flavored stuff it can make for a great night with your lady.

Hey I'm not far, just how much of that Vodka do you have to drink :chuckle:

Actually truth be told I like it with grapefruit juice too, add a little salt and call it a salty dog, or add a little Bloody Mary mix and call it a Bloody Mary.

Cheers!

If you don't like the fruity drinks make one for you special lady.  Lemon drop martinis are the best.  One part vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and 1-2 parts triplesec.  Shake with ice and sit in the sun overlooking your yard, flowerbeds, or garden and enjoy a job well done!

Vodka+OJ=Screwdriver

Or if that is still too sweet for you, substitute grapefruit juice instead of OJ, still tasty just not as sweet.

I've been a straight vodka drinker or martinis most of my life. HOWEVER, I've gotten into the habit of buying large bottle of pomegranate juice at COSTCO and drink it with vodka and it doesn't suck at all. Add some lime and a stripper and you're gonna love it.

Vodka Martini...stirred not shaken...
I never shake them I usually stir them.  I don't have the fancy shaker and I'm not a purist.  I just though that was the "right" way to do it.

that's a popular woman 's drink  :chuckle:

I drank many liters of vodka when I worked in Russia. I mean many . :chuckle:
Anyway this is the proper way taught to me by a Russian Colonel and professional vodka enthusiast:
throw the bottle in the freezer . get a piece of dark pumpernickel rye bread. Cut pieces of bread. get a jar of pickles.
Once Ice cold pour into a shot glass (100 grams) drink the shot, smell the The piece of dark bread and eat the pickle.
Have a bottle of good Borzhoi Georgian mineral water nearby to sip and rehydrate.

repeat as needed

Nobody mentioned Kamikazi - my favorite vodka drink by far

Vodka
lime juice
triple sec

Most recipes call for equal amounts of each, but I like at least 50% vodka. Kickin' drink!

If you want your vodka to taste like high dollar stuff, run it through a brita water filter several times.  It will take all the impurities out that give people headaches and that leave a bad aftertaste.
