What time does the gates to Joe Watt open up tomorrow? I seem to recall 6am, but I don't know for sure. I would like to get there well in advance because I have class at 9am, so I gotta be first in line and put in some serious boot work if I want to have even a chance at finding some bone.

If you get there at six you'll be about 50th in line. Good luck

The bulls all scattered up into the hills in March, when all the snow melted off. There have been no branch antlered bulls in the feeding station for over 6 weeks.
So there will be no concentration of antlers..
Good luck to everyone. It will be a zoo as always.

Sure doesn't sound like fun to me. I prefer solitude when I'm out in the woods. It sounds like it's almost as bad, or even worse, than opening day of elk season.
No thanks.

Imagine fishing Drano Lake at the Height of Springer Season... :yike:

It was just as bad or worse. There were 6 people on every ridge and finger. Shed hunting wasn't so good but it was a beautiful day outdoors and away from work.
