Does Anybody know FOR SURE if i can camp over night on DNR land, im talkin no fire just camping/sleeping? I have a call into the office but no call back...
-
Yes you can, just have your Discover pass.

Thank you Bobcat, you have no idea how helpful that is!

You might double check the area you want to be in - I believe some of the state forests have regs that you have to be in an established campground. I don't think there's a blanket regulation for all DNR land though...

Check the DNR website. I know of some DNR land that doesn't allow camping.

I got a ticket for camping along a road that was entrance to campground, went and complained the said I could camp anywhere In national forrest, and I have camped everywhere.

I was informed last year the DNR area I hunt is open 1hr before sunrise till 1hr after sunset. That was from a game warden. We had inquired about hunting coyotes at night. Kinda just left it at that.
