Post by: boneaddict on May 09, 2013, 10:03:18 AM: He was cold. I was trying to get some other shots of him but the cat got involved. She is hell on snakes. Then he got fired up and the kids got involved. They were scared to death for their kitty. Cat was just having fun.

The snake would strike, shed weave and then pin his head down, or box him in the ears. I would have liked to have watched it a bit longer but the kids interfered. I have seen her carrying dead snakes back for her kittens, so I know she likes them.

Plus its a little more complicated getting on eye level with them. If someone would have seen me the other day theyd have thought I was nuts. I was hovering over about 30 rattlers trying to get a good headshot of another.
