This is really our most mellow shoot. The 4H club that we sponsor willing be hanging out after. Many times they have made it a overnight camping shoot. We've gotten several of out movers so they work well without too many hangups, and we LOVE to throw in those challenge shots that don't normally happen at other times in the year.

A few updates for you all. Silver Arrow has Purchased all of Whidbey Island Bowmens rhineheart targets. That means we are knocking on 80 rhineheart targets at the club! The I5 Skagit river bridge has created some traffic problems in the area, however ANYONE coming from the south will have ZERO problems relating to the traffic issue. Since i have to commute across the bridges for work i can tell you that the morning hours have less traffic than later in the afternoon. I just looked up the weather report and the rain is supposed to clear up friday. (which is good so that we don't get soaked setting up the course.)
Come Check us out on our Web site, or facebook page!

Not sure I'll make it. Wish I could.

Getting ready to head out and set up the course. I'm in charge of the moving targets so if you blow up an arrow you can blame me!

You remember what happened last time you moved a target.
-
Yes! That was a gamble and you came up on the short end of the stick. :o This is a mover on PURPOSE!
-
Okay

I'm shooting this weekend the hell with it! I'll have another wedding anniversary right?

Make her present a Bow and bring her shooting. :chuckle:

How did you shoot today?
I was doing great until the very last target :yike: Right over top and blew up my lucky arrow :bash: :bash: killed 3 deer with that arrow and now she is gone ... That was a lot of fun ...glad I talked myself into going !
-
You shot with some good shooters today.
-
yeah ...those target shooters complain a lot :dunno: :chuckle: I known Whitlock for along long time ...I do not think those guys behind us liked how fast we could make a pig run :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: that was funnier than heck ....all they kept saying was ...man that pig was hauling arz...We laughed the whole back to camp over that ....all we heard was WHACK WHACK SLAP KLACK SMACK ...Not sure I will make it or not tomorrow ...guess I will think about it when I wake up ...
-
Glad to see you out shooting today. I scrapped 3 arrows. Stupid tree :bash:. Bringing the chainsaw tomorrow :chuckle:
-
Good seeing the both of you there at the shoot. Good to finally meet you BH45. Unlike D-rock I 10 ringed the mountain goat so i don't need climbing spurs or a ladder to get my arrows! :chuckle:
We had about 80 shooters today and our 4H club we sponsor had a BBQ after. If your sore after 45 targets you get a little relief because tomorrow there will only be 30. Mark (the guy that won the 80 PSE Omen) Shot the whole course with his new bow! :yike: He shot pretty good, but at 340fps i sure makes the yardage guessing a little easier.
-
I shot 2 trees today :bash:
-
Was the other one the leaning bear?
