Just curious to see what Brand is your favorite 8).
-
Sako for me, simply love the action and the accuracy. Browning and Remington bring in 2nd place
-
Sako here also. Favorite deer rifle is my .308 L579 Mannlicher, late 50's early 60's vintage.
-
Only have 1 rifle which is a remington but my favorite is weatherby
-
Both mine are Winchesters, .270 and .300 win mag
-
I love my browning
-
Ya I also shoot a browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker Left-Handed. It is soooo much better than shooting a righty's gun ;).
-
I gotta go with http://www.cooperfirearms.com :twocents:
-
Got several different ones, but favorite is my Kimber 84M Montana....................
-
I like my Weatherby! :)
-
NOTHING shoots quite like Weatherby.
-
im a big fan of my browning
-
Browning for me.
-
NOTHING shoots quite like Weatherby.
NOTHING? Really? ;)
-
I really like Sako best but the Tikkas I can afford eassier.

Weatherby 1st. If I could have voted twice I would have voted Sako as my second choice. I shot a Mark V syn stainless in .300 WBY topped witha stainless 3x9 Leupold for years. The wife shoots a .270 Wby Mark V syn, stainless topped with the same Leupold and both of those shootin irons are TACK DRIVERS!! I shoot a Sako TRGS chambered in Lazzeroni 7.82 Warbird now. It's a great rifle also. Nothing to complain about it. Altough it deffinately SNORTS a bit more than my Wby did when you squeeze the trigger. :o
-
Should of had a choice for "ALL"... it doesn't matter to me as long as it spits high speed projectiles out one end. It is just a tool like a hammer or saw. You either know how to use them or you don't.
-
They seem to shoot better if they are Made In the U.S.A. I can't stand the foreign stuff.
-
No clear favorite but tend to lean to CZ. I have a Remington 700 & 66, Browning A Bolt SS, Winchester 70, Marlin GG, 2 H&R's, Custom Varmet FN Mauser action and three CZ's calibers from .17 HMR - 45-70, Now if we talk shotguns Beretta is a hands down winner in target guns, Baikal is great for Saltwater because they are cheap and if you have motor problems you can use them as a paddle. For upland birds and freshwater ducks I like Remington's (1100 & 11-87) and LC Smith. You will note I did not list any Bennelli's when they work they are fine but I've seen way to many DIF (Dead in Field) and the recoil is a lot stiffer then Beretta and Remington auto's :twocents:
Just an additional note; My Browning A Bolt SS does jam/lock up on me here is the situation if I push the bolt up on perpose or snagged on a branch or what ever the safety will not disengage without slapping the bolt down. This did cost me a nice 4X4 buck in Canada in 2005. :bash:
-
Real partial to A-bolts. I have A SS Stalker and I used the action on a custom gun. Sako pretty darn good too as is Rem.

remington model 700... dont get any better.
(my opinion) ;)

I love my Winchester, but chose other because if I could afford it I would have a Christensen Arms Custom.
-
blaser sauer merkel

-
browning A-Bolt can't beat it :twocents:
-
Ok I chang my vote after hearing cooper supports Obama :bash: I would say weatherby/howa
-
Ruger M77 MKII. Works great, looks nice, hits where I aim it. Quite fond of the Marlin 336s and the Guide Guns.
-
I am a A-bolt snob, but the Savages look nice too, never used on though...
-
remington is the top because they cant afford a ruger hahahaha
-
Weatherby Mark V all the way!!!
-
heym kriegoff simson.
i am steadily realising that i will buy any gun for the right price.
-
Never met a rifle I didnt like ;) Mark
-
Sp far the only rifle I've not been happy with was a Winchester, just wouldn't ever shoot. Have a couple Rugers, a Remmy, a Mauser and a Browning, a Marlin and an H&R. Just can't say I like anyone one of them better than the other. But they all have their sepcific application.
-
Savage is the sentimental favorite seeing as how I have the one Grandpa fed the family with 65+years ago.
Pretty happy with the Savage MK II I just brought home and the Remington 700 I just bought although the last round hangs up if not loaded carefully.
My Marlins, the 1895 LTD III is a beauty. The 1895gs I used to have was too after some interior work..tool marks. >:(
The last Winchester 94 I bought was a P.O.S. Make that the last two. I returned the first one an hour after I got it home when pieces started falling out. Someone stripped out some screws and tried to put in bigger ones. The one I got back hadn't been fully deburred. Both were the Composite-Stainless model. The Model 94 Legacy I bought in 98? was another Beauty. almost kept it for myself, Xmas gift...
I'd like to buy something from every good Gun maker.
-
Browning... :rockin:
-
Browning A-bolt II left hand hunter 325wsm
-
My 2 main battle rifles (.243 & .300 Win Mag) are both A-Bolts. Have had both for more than 20 years.
-
Ruger :)
-
flying solo with T/C. where's JDB when I need him...
:'(
-
so far seems I am a ruger girl.....not sure how it happened ...now where to put that logo ;)
-
I voted Tikka although I would like to get my hands on a nice Sako Safari. A bit to pricey just yet. The Tikka's action is butter smooth and trigger is nice and crisp. Shoots sub MOA just like the box said it would! ;)
-
I dont dislike any of them but my favorites are Remingtons
-

:yeah:
-
since sako tikka and berreta are all owned by the same company it was hard i voted sako but tikka is tied for me.
-
Remington but I like my sako alot.
Don't see a spot for the old Husky? :dunno: I know guys tht swear by them.
Kris
-
I only have one rifle a sako 7mm-08 and love it.
-
Remington XCR 300 ultra mag is my favorite, it is very accurate and has incredible knockdown power.
-
Remington all the way baby!
-
I HAVE TWO SAVAGE RIFLES, AND I LOVE THEM, (THE STOCKS KINDS SUCKS), BUT ACCURACY IS FRIKIN AWSOME, LOVE SAVAGES. MOSSBURG FOR SHOTGUNS THOUGH.
-
Do I havre to pick just one?>
I guess it would be a Cooper if I had to pick just one followed by Browning
-
I've just always had Remingtons.
-
I love my T/C Pro Hunter. Got it chambered in 7mm Rem, 338 Win mag and 12ga rifled slug barrel. I've had a few Remintons also, they always shoot good.
-
Kimber Montana for me..
-
anything that shoots straight
-
Remington but I like my sako alot.
Don't see a spot for the old Husky? :dunno: I know guys tht swear by them.
Kris
Just picked up an old Husqvarna in 30-06. Looking for a 6.5x55 in a Husky too. Great rifles
I love older sakos too.
-
both my hunting rifles are remington , model 770 in 270. win and a remington model 114 gamemaster in 30. rem odball caliber but a sweet shooter if you can get ammo.
