Hiked up to a ridge near Bassemer Mt. (Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie Area)
I'm wiped. 4000ft up in 6 hours, 4000ft down in three hours.
Six inches of new snow at the top of Bassemer Mt. What an awesome hike.
Flushed up a couple of Grouse. Heard them all around. Might have to come back in September
Saw all kinds of fresh tracks: Deer, Coyote, Bobcat, Grouse, but no Bear.
I'm doing hikes at least one day ever weekend all Summer...
Hoping to spot a big Black Bear...
Had to laugh at the Obama sign. $800 Billion for a sign.
Did some shooting. 6.8mm SPC, one was a little low and to the right.

Wow, heck of a hike. Nice pics. Good to be out...until you get to that freaking sign reminding you of the morons in DC...

You covered some ground. Good workout.

It kind of did suck being reminded of the terrorist disguised as a President, and all of his cronies. The messed up part was it was behind a locked gate.

Yeah, I'm still sore...

I bet I love my 6.8 more than you love your 6.8 :-). They really are an awesome tool. Distance was only about 50 yards. I was just rechecking zero as I had the scope on and off. I'm going to be out every weekend till the Fall. Hoping to not be the slowest one in hunting camp then.

I was thinking the same thing.
