I'm looking into maybe purchasing a new quiver, Thinking I want a 2 piece.
What do you guys hunt with one or two piece, and how many arrows?
I've seen a-lot of 4 arrow quivers and a-lot of 6.
-
1 piece, 5 arrow. If I need more than that its time to go back to the drawing board.
-
One piece for easy removal if needed and usually a 3 arrow but on long outings I'll throw on the 5 and carry 4 BH and one Judo.
-

I carry 4 in a 5 arrow quiver.

Yeah, never needed more than 1

Not sure that I want a one piece, Had one previously and always ran into problems with vibration.
Plus Im not sure I really want to be removing my quiver.
-
Just my :twocents: but i prefer a 1 piece quiver so that I can remove it while I'm on stand. Though I shoot fine with it on the bow, I shoot better and can hold at draw longer with it off. I hunted with a 4 arrow one for a while before I bought my current Fuse quiver which holds 5 nice and tight to the riser.
-
I usually have 4 ... I have not bought arrows in probably 6 years now ... just lucky with those one shot kills and complete pass threw with the 100 gr Wasp Boss :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: Lmao !

Two piece will support the arrows better to prevent arrow vibration but the quiver itself you can end up with vibration in both. Just check mounting bolts and any screws on the quiver too make sure they're tight. Can even use a locktite type product on the screws to help prevent loosening. I use the G5 stuff.

Mathews two piece and 5 arrows.

5 arrows.

-
Mathews two piece 7 arrows
-
5- 4 broadheads and a judo tip.
-
Normally I like 4 but will be carring three this year. Less weight and it comes off quick so I can throw it in my badlands.

You know.... I have been trying different equipment for bowhunting for the past 25 years. The quiver is the one item I have kind of ignored or not concerned myself as much with. I finally broke down and bought a "Tight Spot" quiver. I do not know why I waited so long. It is expensive but well worth it. vibration free and fits tighter against my riser that most two pc quivers. Very easy and quick to remove.
Check one out. you wont regret it.

5 arrows and all broadheads. A wise man once taught me....all you need is one, unless you miss then you wish you had more. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I have been looking at these for a while and trying to justify the cost.
-
2 piece Fuse and 6 arrows, although I always wonder why so many. I guess I'd rather have them and not need them. 5 BH's and a Judo.
-
7 arrows. Never had to put a second in an animal, but better safe than sorry as far as I'm concerned. . . Wonder how many rifle hunters just bring 1 bullet because that's all they should need? Also, never know if you get turned around and have to stay the night, need to use 'em as protection etc.
-
Good observation everyone. Wonder if Tightspot carries a one piece in realtree camo? Im thinking I want atleast 5 arrows. Never heard of carrying both broadhead and a single judo for small game but I think thats a fantastic idea.

I took a grouse out last year while bear hunting thanks to having the judo head.
-
They make them in almost every camo. Like others have said. They are expensive but are the best. I love mine. Tight to the riser and are super light.
-
2 piece fuse. Little concerned how it will work in a soft case on horse though..
-
Like others have said 5 arrows in a tight spot quiver; one arrow is tipped with a blunt for opportunities at grouse.
-
7 for me, usually 5 BH and 2 Judo. Have had to follow up the first Judo with the second or take a second shot at a grouse. I'd rather have extras and not need them.
-
1 piece. 6 arrows (5 broadheads, 1 judo or practice/field tip)
-
2 piece, 5 arrow Mathews quiver with 3 arrows.
-
Tight spot for me. 5 b heads... I am not out there hunting grouse so I don't need a judo.

All or nothing huh J lol
-
4 broadheads and a blunt in case someone pisses me off :chuckle:
-
usually 6 arrows, one of which is usually a small game tip..
-
5 - all with BHs. Four razor sharp and brand new - one that's already been shot and dulled a bit for shooting small game or checking my sights after a fall.
-
I like at least six... have never run out before but I have come close...
-
Carry a full quiver. I made the mistake of carrying three in my quiver because I had always killed my elk with one arrow. Well last day of a six day hunt I shot three arrows at the same elk. Missed all three :chuckle: Truth be told I was in a bit of a panic as the elk and I had almost walked into each other. First shot over its back. Elk moves 10 or so yards. Second shot kills the tree next to it. Third shot clips a three limb. All three shots were inside of 40 yards. Then the elk steps out and gives me a perfect shot and I am out of arrows. I felt like a complete rookie even though I had already killed 5 elk with my bow.
-
I carry four, If I shoot four arrows it is time to go back to the truck and take a break anyway. I watched a Ted Nugent hunting show and he had like 10 arrows , was a crazy full quiver. Mike

4 slick trick standards and 1 judo for small game
-
4+1 blunt tip for small game
-
I carry: 5 broadheads and one judo. Question: the arrow with the judo, carbon? Or do any of you use aluminum (cost) for the grouse and other small game?
