Title: Looking for a fall bear partner.
Post by: bknilvr00 on May 28, 2013, 07:00:19 PM: With the fall season approaching I figured I'd go ahead start throwing out some feelers. I'm fairly new to Wa state, and big game hunting. I chase ducks for the most part. But I want to change that. I want to get a bear this fall. I went one day last year, embarrasing... And ill be the first to admit I know almost nil about big game in general. I'm looking for somebody who's willing to teach, and point me in the right direction. I don't expect a handout. I want to earn my keep. I'm more than willing to work to learn. I hope to meet and know some of you folks and gleen what information I can. Thanks for reading.

BTW, that little one you got with the collar. Didn't you have to call the numbers in to see if the tranquilizer was out of it's system enough to eat? Wasn't he previously trapped because he was eating garbage?

Right on! We will have a lake stevens bear hunting army on stand by when we get one down.
