Post by: vandeman17 on June 14, 2013, 11:15:50 AM: A few guys my dad work with drew the Ochoco unit archery elk tags. One of the guys just moved there from Texas last fall and didn't have any points going in. He was lucky and went in with a few guys who had points and they drew.

Post by: Elkgetr2 on June 14, 2013, 03:10:42 PM: I tried for pine creek elk with three points and got skunked. A friend of mine drew the Applegate late muzzy tag with 9 points. If anyone has any tips they are willing to give it would be greatly appreciated.

Post by: Opportunist on June 19, 2013, 01:48:00 AM: Fireguy, 2010 my dad had the tag no buck but got shots at a good buck, 2011 we had Pine Creek I killed a good buck. We'll hunt wherever we find good bucks while scouting this summer, high alpine,middle national forests roaded or low BLM sage.
