Title: Frabill Crawfish Traps
Post by: xd2005 on June 18, 2013, 11:51:43 AM: So I've seen the round Frabill crawfish traps and thought of getting one. If I understand the regs correctly, it seems if I were to use the trap as the Frabill instructions indicated, it would be illegal. Am I understanding correctly?

My thought was that instead of using the clip they provide to close the non- hinged side, using a loop of cord. Then, connect the provided clip somewhere else and attach the rope to it. Would that then by sufficient? Thanks.
