Drew after 18 years. Looking for advice, where to scout, where to camp, anyone local who might assist retrieving a moose, etc.
-
This should not be a very difficult hunt! When are you planning on being in the unit for the hunt? I know some people that may be willing to help pack out a Moose.
-
Tagging because I have #2 of 8. Starting research now.

Lots of moose, we videoed the two young bulls in the first photo fighting right after I snapped this photo. Lots of young bulls, one day we called in 3 bulls all at once, one was almost a shooter but we passed him. We killed the bull shown, he had a weak side due to an old wound, but Marty wanted him anyway after seeing his good side. A lot of the unit is private, so hunt the state and timber lands and you should do fine. If you hunt Inland Paper you will need a permit. Just google their name and you can see where they sell permits. Good Luck

Looks like you could curl up and take a nap on one of those paddles!

:yeah: :yike:

He should have some of his young growing up in there. Too bad the right side was weak, still was a nice bull, and Marty knew he was the right bull as soon as we spotted him, there was no talking him out of that bull. :chuckle:
-
dale, would that strong side be considered a triple brow? there's not much to differentiate on that moose what's paddle and what's brow.
-
Enjoy it, moose hunts are special in this state.

That is a COOL Bull. That left side is a Masher, nice........
Was that the Mt Spokane unit?
