Title: peep sights
Post by: whack em on June 20, 2013, 07:42:39 PM: I've shot nothing but a tube assited peep on my bow for the last 7 years. I had new Winners Choice strings put on a couple of months ago, and have recently noticed my peep has an ever so slight twist to it. The local bow shop owner told me to bring the bow back after I had shot it around 350 shots, and he'd check the string for me. I'm getting ready to do this soon, and was debating on going tubeless while I'm there. I've read that more and more folks favor the tubeless set up. Looking for any advice or thoughts on this. Post by: owmygulay on June 20, 2013, 10:30:18 PM: If you have good strings that aren't going to stretch anymore, I like the tubeless. It is one less thing to worry about. I had one break during a 3d shoot and would hate to have one break on a hunt.

Post by: lokidog on June 20, 2013, 10:40:06 PM: The tubes also twang a bit on the shot as well as break at inoportune times. If it twists as the string stretches, you can move it strand by strand if needed. A D-loop helps keep it aligned.

Post by: coachcw on June 21, 2013, 10:19:15 PM: I went tubeless for two years then went back to the tube it turns every time , just keep some extra tube and keep a eye on it , easy field replacement .

Post by: carpsniperg2 on June 23, 2013, 08:05:03 PM: I hate tubes! I have snagged and ripped every one off that I have had on my bows. I have beens tubeless for 6 years. Have them throw a RAD peep in that string and you are good to go.

If you go tubeless, Pick up one of the peeps that Radsav designed (Fellow Member on here) They are amazing, I love mine.
Look for the packages that say "Radical Archery Designs." Cant miss them, They're virtually In every sporting good store these days. :tup:

It is cool to support a fellow member, but what is the difference between the RAD peep and any other? What does it weigh? What's it made of?
