you must work with her? She told me about you before. She was pretty excited to see the bear and moose while checking cams. And she probably told you about the porcupine incident... :chuckle:
-
Good looking critters there. The long brow tine buck should end up being a decent buck. Really makes me want to get out and get mine set up. How are you liking the Wildgame Innovation camera? I had a camera stolen last year so I'm in the market for a new one.
-
You have some nice bucks on there. Hopefully they stick around and you get more pics as they grow..

so far the wildgame cams are working well. I have 4 of them. Some get very washed out pics at dusk. But battery life is good.

Great photos. Thanks for posting.

What kind of batteries do they use? Do they have the option to connect an external 12V battery?

Yes, she mentioned the porcupine and dog incident, she said it hurt her more then the dog when removing the quills

I am only buying cameras.that use AA batteries and use ultimate lithiums in them. Been thinking about picking up a biunch of.rechargeables. I hear they work pretty well.

Good looking pics, hope he grows up for ya.

That last buck reminds me of an old lady with curlers in her hair. lol

checked the cam looking for tall brow today and there werent any pics of him on there... :dunno:
but he was bedded about 10 yards from my cam and i got a real good look at him! he did grow some g4s and addes 2-3 inches on each tine since the last pic of him. hes turning out to be a decent buck. ill hope for more pics next time. the cam there is screwing up so i need to replace it next week and ill drop a molasses block to entice him in for pics.
-
checked a couple cams this weekend. got more pics of "tall brow" he is a 3 year old buck that i passed last year as a smaller 4. he is a decent 4 this year, but id like to see him in another year. there is also a nice 5 at the same spot that will be a nice one. some elk and a funky nontypical at another spot too!

Dude that sucks!
I had a SD card stolen last week and was pissed... when cameras go I get REAL pissed :bash:
-
Oh man... got a call from the landowners son today.. turns out it was the great grandson of the landowner... they want me to have a little talk with the youngin this week. :bash: at least it'll give me time to simmer down.
Just wish I had a 100 acre field of hay bales for him to load and stack to make up for it.
-
The worst part is I just upgraded all my cams this year. :bash: looks like I get to upgrade again...

At least it was just the card. Too bad the most awesome pic you would have ever gotten on a trail cam was on that card! :chuckle:
ill trade you a shiny new SD card to replaceyour lost one for a cam! Ill even load up the SD card with pics of does and fawns and coyotes!

How do they know the grand kid did it?

There was a couple pics that showed a unique t shirt. They found out who had the t shirt and showed him the cams.... said he got all fidgety and nervous.
I just remembered that I never looked through the rest of the pics... I need to. :tung:

Damn that sucks! I would be pissed. How old was the kid?
-
I'm not sure on age. Haven't met him yet. I'd guess 11-14 though.
-
Whoa!!!! you have taken this to far! this is over the top! You have done to much investigating to find the culprits!

I am sure he was just trying to remove them from the tree incase it fell they would be broke. Or was making them less likely to be stolen. He was only doing his.best to help me out... :chuckle:
-
more pics, new buck I found also. hes a very tall 5x4.
-
I have been seeing the new buck for 10 days or so, he is kinda mean to the little guys, using those front feet with great effect.
-
Some nice whitey's.
-
Very nice bud !! Those are some dang clear photos

i wish I could watch him each day like you?
does he spend lots of time in that falfa field?
I am noticing th equality of the bucks increase in the last few years since we really got selective in what we are targeting out there.

Everybody goes to the new growth with the round bales. If you look close most of the eating is prickly lettuce, morning glory and a little alfalfa. I need to check with Russ on that barley variety, they have eaten 20+% of the heads. It needs to be in my food plot mix.
