So here is my first set of pics. I put out 4 cams and let them soak for about a month. I definitely learned a lot from my first set. I forgot to bring a digital camera so that I could view the pictures as I setup the bait. Forgetting to do so, the camera view was off and didn't capture the bait pile in the pics. I also found out that everything grows fast this time of year as I have thousands of pictures of ferns, grass, shrubs, etc. Overall I am happy that I was able to get some animals on camera and learned a few things for next time.
I relocated 2 of the cams and kept the other two in the same spot. I changed out the batteries, SD cards, and re-baited each site. This time I was able setup the cams and bait piles correctly as I brought something to view the pictures. I baited each site with two different types of salt and some wet cob. I'll post pictures of my next set in about a month.

What kind of camera are you using? Looks like the animals have it pegg'd every time. noisy shutter or something maybe?
I'd also be careful setting on a road like that...roads = humans which unfortunately means possibility of theft. It's such a fun hobby, wouldn't want some jack-wagon to rob you of the pleasure. I learn more every set too!

Thanks for the helpful tips Chukar. I am using Primos 35 and 46 cams. They are the refurbished cams and should have had the shutter noise fixed, but obviously didn't. I noticed that the animals heard the cams too from the pictures of them staring at the cam.
I moved a couple cams that had people in the area that noticed them. Fortunately nobody messed with them. I made sure to invest in security for the cams as I don't want them stolen. Each one has a security box, 3-4 lag bolts, python cable lock, and a heavy duty padlock. This should help deter any thieves.

No worries, sounds like you have got plenty of protection! Looks also like a good spot with good variety of game. That one BT has some nice growth for late may. Keep up the good work.
