So I think I'm going to put a set of strings on my bow, I've read just about everything there is to read and seen most of the reviews on that other forum but most of the time I don't trust those reviews, seems like a lot of people just pushing a product. So what do you guys have and do you like them? Also, did you notice a difference compared to the stock strings? Thanks for any inputs.

I have used a few different makers of custom strings in the last five years from xxx archery g strings, vapor trail, winners choice and korbin archery. They all do as advertised and was pleased with the product.
Xxx archery hands down has the best customer service I have experienced and a very competive price for strings and cables and fast turn around from your date of order to your door. I would highly recommend giving Cory a call.
Vapor trail are reliable and easy to order online, like Cory's g strings they don't charge extra for custom colors, have quick turn around and are quality strings.
Winners choice are great strings but cost more than all the other strings, they also charge extra for custom colors. They will get the job done and are a quality string.
Korbin archery's string were the most affordable at 70 to 80 for a set. They performed as advertised, though there was a cable that I had to have him remake because it was to short. His customer service was good and he fixed the problem in a timely manner.
There are a lot custom string makers out there, these are just a few I have used in the past and had good luck with. I am currently shooting a 2013 hoyt syder 34 and the stock string and cables have worked as well custom strings I have used in the past.

Im not a fan of winner choice, always had peep rotation an costed more. I switched to vapor trail an had no peep rotation and was cheaper than winners choice.

I have had 3 sets of Croft strings on my bow and they are great!

I agree with what has been said about Vapor Trail and xXx Archery G strings. I'm still not sold on the 8190 string material as of yet and still make sure all my own strings are made of either Trophy, 452X or XCel. Color is not as nice as the 8190 or XS, but the stability and feel of shot is fantastic. And most importantly the servings stay put! Still more long term testing before I will endorse the 8190, but so far it does look promising. I think the Gore fiber helps keep the servings in place unlike prior 100% HMPE materials where servings slipped regularly unless you anchored them special.
Nice thing about having Cory do your strings is you can drop the bow off and make absolute certain all servings, including the whacker servings, are exactly where they need to be. Drives me crazy when they aren't perfect.

My bow came with a two sets of Winners Choice. Now I'm on my third set (had to buy). Not sure if that's to be expected with four years on the bow. Last set: installed, served up, and out the door cost me $130. Not sure if that's out of this world or not but everything is holding together. I even got my bow back at the same poundage that I dropped it off.
If I consider custom strings for my next set I will definitely look up xXx Archery. I haven't tried Cory's strings but when I was new to the sport he was kind enough to spend time answering many of my questions. What a class act

Thanks for all the replies, RadSav I have been wondering about the different types of Material, I don't know much about them. I have heard nothing but good about xxx Archery, I think I will give them a call and find out about their prices. Thanks again everyone

Hey give my buddy Scott a try. Great service and great strings. His web site is www.pinnaclearchery.com (http://www.pinnaclearchery.com)

3 string custom color xcel bowstrings for me. Shoot like butter and their has been virtually no stretch after probably 600+ shots put through it. Done by the Radsav himself.

Im taking my bow in Friday for new strings. Id love to have Cory make me some G strings but its just too far to go. Im gonna have Kitsap Archery order some Winners Choice strings I guess.
A little concerned about Rad not endorsing the 8190 material. I can have them made in 452 or excel though still from Winners choice.
Or I wonder if Cory could make the strings, then send them to me to have my pro shop install them...
Hmmmm...
