Title: Peaches scouting, camping weekend???
Post by: rtspring on June 28, 2013, 03:43:41 PM: Many members on here have asked me for info on Peaches. My number one goal is to help Coach chase a bull for Aaron! But this is a bow hunt, I can sure help others too. So how bout a campout/ scouting trip??? I can show people the area. No not my honey holes. Those will be kept secret for Coach and I until his tag is filled, then its game on for others.

Love to meet others and camp and talk elk strategies and such. Looking at the next three weeks or so??

Who is in and what dates can you make???

I hope they will not be so spooked now that only bull tag guys will be in there. I cant wait to fill my tag on a big one. :IBCOOL:

The next three weeks are gonna be crazy learning new areas and checking honey holes . I havn'tr been putting any preasure on the areas that I know but will be taking a peek. Coach .

I met D-rock , He's a good guy looking to shape it up and it was good chatting with him. made a slight left to right adjust at fourty yards and the cpx was on the mark . going through some gear this weekend getting ready , first thing we know it will be here.

Post by: huntergreg on August 11, 2013, 04:02:03 PM: got up there late last night. set up our tents and got rained on all night. This morning was partly sunny and we saw 2 bucks. one 2x2 and a 3x3. Got up on top to do some glassing then the fogg rolled in. didnt see any elk but got a few cams set up in some new spots. this afternoon the lightning and thunder started again. hailed like crazy up there. so we came home early.

found it looked right past it in the pocket on my backpack. oh well I found stuff I'd didn't remember having . I think the rut is kicking in for me , can't eat, sleep , and sexy ladies are on my mind !
