Title: Compliments of 140 GR Hornaday Interlock ! And now the 180 gr (UP DATED TODAY)
Post by: BOWHUNTER45 on July 08, 2013, 07:03:38 AM
O.k I never posted many bear pictures on here but I figured I will give Hornaday the credit they deserve ..  and this thread is not going to be all about what BH45 has to say about it but is open for everyone ..Back in the 90s I lived to hunt bears ...It did not matter if was August and 90 degrees out we still went ...and have killed bears in the middle of the day when it was at its hottest ...I have been lucky in finding some awesome spots where no one that I know has been and its been that way for 20 yrs ...But I hike my butt off to find them ...Bears have to have water So when it is hot like in August look for water supply and in like a couple of my spots I have a creek running threw an old clear cut which has Salmon Berries growing on both sides of the creek ...Bears have all they need to drink and eat ...also if you can find there traveling spot that's a plus too ! Like my best spot has a huge cedar which fall across the creek ...9 out of 10 x the bears come out of the timber and use the cedar to cross the creek to get to the Salmon Berries ...unfortunately not many has made it across when I have been sitting there  :chuckle:  I have been walking and getting in shape this year so let the party begin ...I have not hunted bears much lately in August but I may need to take a hike or 2 when the season begins ...better get to loading some 140 gr Hornadays for that .270  :dunno: :chuckle:  I HAVE !!!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

Hold on ...this could get boring if I do not throw in a story or two ! When I came out here from PA . All I could think about is hunting elk and bear ...I remember asking locals about elk and bear hunting and not many had much to tell me ..So I decided I would take matters into my own hands and start scouting and finding what I need to know to start bagging up these critters ...Well it was not long before I had my neighbors and friends asking me where I have been finding all this stuff  :dunno: :chuckle:    Here is my very 1st Bear in Washington ....never seen a bear before until this one ...I was hunting an area where there was some fresh logging and when I walked up the road I saw a camp trailor parked on the side of the road ..I walked up to it and out comes this guy ..WATCHMAN ! For the logging company ! So we start talking and hit it off right off the bat ..I told him I just moved here from PA. and I am looking for a bear ...he just smiles at me ..tells me you have come to the right spot but you need to hike up that ridge over there and there is a creek where the bears always hang out ...so after about another hour I decide to go check this out ...Not having an intensions of seeing anything I slowly make my way up threw the bush and hit this old grade . I decided to walk the old grade to see where it went and when I got to the end of it  :yike: :yeah: I Looked down at the creek and seen a Grizzly Standing on its back legs  :yike: :o Well it looked like one  :dunno: :chuckle: So I am in shock and lay down on this log pile ..He is about 300 yrds plus just eating like a pig and every once in awhile he would stand up and look around ...So I watched him for about 10 minutes or so because my heart was pumping so fast I could not get it together ...1st time seeing a bear and I was freaking out ...After I got my senses straight he stands up again I put the crosshairs in center of his neck just above his shoulder and squeezed Pooooow....I see nothing ...I was not sure if I missed or what ...So it takes me about a half hour to get there because I had no Idea what bush was until this very day ... :yike: when I got to the creek I could not find him  :bdid: but the brush was over my head So I looked around some and walked about 10 yrds down stream and  :yike: there he was ...one shot just above the shoulder   ..NIGHT NIGHT ...I now hooked for life !! The old .270 whitetail killer is now a Bear killer .... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

:chuckle: :chuckle: how about this one .... This bear followed me up the creek ...when I got to my stand I layed my gun down on a log ..did not have my pack off yet when my little buddy started freaking out ,,,BEAR BEAR I Looked down at the creek we just walked up and the bear was running up the creek to get to the timber has fast as he could ...Obviously got our wind ...I crabbed the gun and jumped up on the log so I could see him when he popped up ..I threw up off hand and as soon as his nose hit the crosshairs Poooooow ... he instantly was chasing his tail in circles and fell over ....after I gutted him I was sitting there putting my stuff away and I turned around and looked at the gutpile and it was MOVING  :yike: He had worms crawling around in him at 12 long ... :yike: :bdid: So I boned it out and gave the meat to a friend who could careless about the worms ...I was not eating it !

Here is another one from way back when ... A lot of color phase bears in the area I hunt ..and remember the cedar tree that fall across the creek ? Well it is a death zone like I said earlier  :chuckle:  I think this was # 4 off that same tree ...That tree is still there today ...it is around 3 ft in diameter and being cedar is has lasted a vary long time ... I hope I can get my lazy butt in there in August ...since back in early 90s is when I killed most of my bears in August ... about 2000 I figured out about hunting in September and how much easier it was to find bear and not deal with the heat and bugs ... I will get to the September Bears soon   :chuckle: actually I messed up !!  A couple of the 1st bears I posted were in September ...

This one was in August ! Hippy lookin BH45 ...HAHA

O.k 1 more and I will give it a brake ...I have to start framing a house tomorrow So I will not be around as much !

This is along story  :chuckle: Me and my 2 hunting buddies hike in to my spot early one morning and once we got up there I set them in my favorite spot ..They were brothers ..I told them to sit there and do not move until I get back ..after I dropped them off I hike up the ridge above them and was actually watching them for awhile ..just wanted to see if they would stay put .. :chuckle: after about an hour or so I started glassing over top of there heads to see if I could spot anything ..Well ..it took me about 10 minutes and Bam ...I see a bear about 100yrds below them ..I whistled about 20x and they never looked my way and the bear was feeding away and they could not see it ...Bushes are about 3 to 4 ft tall ...so I pick up my stuff and head there way ...once I get there I looked hard before saying anything about a bear ..could not see it ...So I told them I just saw one while I was sitting above you ..They said yeah right ! So we glassed for another hour and nothing ..I tried to tell them to stay put and he will show himself again ...they always do ...just be patient ! They then tell me that I could sit here and keep waiting and they wanted to head to where I came from  :dunno: :yike: I said O.K Just follow the old grade to the top and you can watch me and watch down the hill toward the other creek and I will hang here ...If I know there is a bear working a spot I never leave . They will feed for awhile then take a nap and then pop up again ... So THEY HEAD OFF .. It was not 10 minutes later when I looked down the hill and there he was ....  :chuckle: :chuckle: All I could see is his head and the upper part of his chest when he stood up to pull the berries down ... I rested off an old log and when he popped his head up I put the crosshairs on his neck ..right below his chin ...and poooow ...I see bushes flying everywhere and he is screaming his head off doing the death cry ...I could not see him ..just bushes moving and him screaming ...Finally I got a little hole to shoot threw and poooow again ...this time no more movement or crying ..I knew he was dead then ...My 1st shot hit him square in the mouth ..took out all his teeth ...ouch ...should of held a little lower since I was shooting down a steep hill but he got it hard the second one ! So I sit there for a few minutes and here they come ...my 2 buddies .. :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: All they were just hissed off ...but like I told them ...no patients ....no nothing ...They still did not believe me until we got there ..they whined the whole time about going down hill threw bush and devil clubs  :chuckle: I laughed the whole time ...

O.K I had a hot day at work today So now I have a ice cold drink in hand I can continue my bear hunting journal ... :chuckle: I will tell the story of Kyle's 1st bear at the age of 9 if I remember right !

Kyle was excited when he got his license ..I told him if he could pass his hunters ed. class I would take him bear hunting ..well after missing 0 on his test and the instructors a little in shock I had him there they finally told me that Kyle was ready to go hunting without a doubt  :dunno: :chuckle:  O.k So anyway we head out early and start hiking at daylight ....it takes us about an hour to get where I wanted to be ..my sweet little perch over looking what I call (the hell hole ) Literally ! I knew if we got one here it would be a scary recovery and no need to tell mom  :yike: We are sitting there for about 15 minutes or so and I hear brush breaking below us and grunting sounds ..I tell the boys to be real quiet and do not move ..they can now hear it and I could hear both of my boys hearts just pounding away ..The problem the bear was against the ledge we were sitting on and we could not see him ..We had to wait until it fed back down the hill below us ...he was feeding on Oregon Grapes and this was the end of September and most of the Blueberries were gone in this area by now ..after about an hour of hearing the bear and not seeing him he finally popped out on a huge dead cedar tree and starting tearing it apart ...I was trying to get Kyle settled in while the bear was occupied ..final Kyle is settled in on my pack and tells me he was solid and not moving ..I tell him to wait until he gets broadside and put the crosshairs on his shoulder ...Well now the bears hears us and turned right at us ...he stands there just looking pretty and he has a huge white V on his chest  I told Kyle to put the crosshairs dead center in the white V of his chest ...He is around 200 down hill ...Kyle then tells me I am ready dad ...I just kept whispering Squeeze squeeze squeeze and POOOOOW ... the bear flips over on his back - feet in the air and rolls off the log  :dunno: 8) I mean nice shot I said to Kyle ...it really was an awesome time to see him roll his 1st bear ...But now it was time to head down into hells Canyon without killing my boys ...to be truthful I do not think anything would of stopped them from getting to that bear ....it was hell coming out because I had the whole damn bear on my back and they could not help ...was not bad as far as getting all the boned out meat and the hide ..it was the climb back up that about killed me !

Here is another story for you ..So as you can see my boys were with me most of the time from about 5 yrs old on ..they loved being with pop and chasing bears ...Bears and turkeys are there most favorite thing to hunt ..I know some wonder my I am telling all these stories but what if I was gone tomorrow ? I want us to be known as hunters and this it what we live to do ..So That's why I am sharing this with everyone ...take everyday as your last and just enjoy what you love to do ! So on this particular day we hike in and spend most of the morning freezing our butts off ..it was cold with the fog hanging over us all morning ..I even made a small fire because we goy a little wet walking threw the blueberries on the way in ..Survival mode  :chuckle: About 11am the sun finally start popping threw the clouds and I could start to see down the hill ...Basically following the fog line as it slowly disappeared ...Nothing that I could see at this point ..After lunch it starting getting warmer out and now we were just sitting back glassing every inch of brush we could ..I was looking So hard I was seeing double of everything ..about 1:30 I set my glasses down on a stump and looked toward the timber to our right ,,and  :chuckle: Bam ..there he was ..just as black as an ace of spades... They prettiest brightest black ball of fur you ever seen  :chuckle: By the time I got the gun and got turned around he was gone  :bash: :bash: but I knew he would pop up again ..and he did ...I see him coming threw the berries and no shot and then he stands up on an old cedar stump and 5 ft round and looking down the hill from us ...I told the boys get ready I going to shoot so watch where he goes if he heads down the hill ..They told me go a head dad I see him good ...I put the crosshairs right between his shoulder blades ..this was a little poke but I knew he was dead  :chuckle: I squeeze off and pooooow .. He folded right where he stood ..just dropped like a rock ..and thank god he did because he would of rolled for a mile before hitting the bottom ..the boys were so excited ..just yelling dad you drop him ...I just love it ...that all !!!! ;)

Here is one of my easy bears ...When I say easy I mean I was prepared for a good hike this particular morning and ended up back at the house before 7:30 am ..all the years bear hunting I got lucky twice by running in to them before hiking my tail off but it is nice to get an easy one here and there .. :chuckle: So anyway I wake up about 5am and get all my stuff loaded in my truck and tell the wife I will be back about dark So have me some dinner ready  :dunno: :chuckle: I should have told her to have breakfast ready  :yeah: I head out before daylight and head up around Mt.Baker as I am heading up the road I am looking down at the creek on my left ..thinking I may catch one getting a drink right at daylight ..as I come around a corner I am still looking at the creek and when I look back at the road I see a dust cloud going around the next corner ..I get up there and seen where something jumped in the brush ..I get out and put one in the chamber and sneak up the road looking in the timber ...all the sudden I see 2 black ears peaking up over a log then his eyes ...I pull up and wait for him to give me his neck and Poooooow ... lights out ....65 yrds from the road  :whoo: :whoo: :lol4: I look at my watch and it said 6:15 am ...I went over to the bear and put a rope around his neck and yarded him to the road ...took me a little time to get him in my truck but I did .... When I got home at 7 my wife is like WTH . :dunno: you said you would be home at dark .... Birrrrrr dirrrrr ...I got one honey !

Check out the old NWTF Hats ....I look like a dork  :chuckle: :chuckle:

O.K Time for another bed time story ..I can not remember how long ago this one was but I still had hair ...Lmao !

I get off of work one evening and decide I need to go for a ride So I threw the trusty .270 in the truck and headed out ..all I think I crabbed a knife and picked up a buddy ..This was back when I could freely roam around the hills around my house without GATES ... :pee: :chuckle: So my buddy and I decided we would split up and he would walk one grade and I would take another ..I dropped him off and I parked the truck so we were both within walking distance if one of us got back sooner than the other ..as I am walking out this old grade I could see the blueberries were thick and I am getting excited about what could be ahead ...I started seeing bear poop after bear poop along the grade and it was fresh ...I slowly work my way down the grade stopping a lot and I hear something in the brush about 50 yrds from me ..it has to be a bear  :dunno: I stand there for a few minutes and I can hear it coming to me ..then I see his back and his head pop up ..he is looking right at me but has no clue I am there ..he starts feeding quartering to me ..Then I could see his shoulder so I layed the crosshairs just in front of his shoulder and his neck and squeezed the trigger ...Pooooow ... no movement what so ever ...I get to him ...about 30yrds and he never took another step ...My buddy heared me shoot and was there to help shortly ...his words were ..wth you sent me down the wrong grade  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: then he said ...I never seen that much bear sheet in my life ....well he only went bear hunting twice before this trip  :bdid:

I dedicate this bear to my good friend Wayne Mackey ...He used to own Riverside archery & taxidermy ...He has now passed and I sure miss the old fart !  :yeah:

So here is by far my longest shot I ever took on a bear and seriously made me a dedicated Hornaday believer ...Not that I was not one already  :dunno: :chuckle:

This will be my longest story yet . :chuckle: My buddy and brother in law and  I were headed out on a deer hunt over around Grand Coulee ..We hunt around a few days and the only bucks we seen were all on private land  So after 3 days of deer hunting we decide to head home ...We come threw Winthrop and pulled over to take a break from driving ..we had a sandwich  and off we go again ..I am in the back seat of a Toyota king cab and only have a little side window to see out of ..as we come to the top of the pass at Blue Lake I look up on the ridge to my right and see a bear ... it looked like a black little dot moving along the rocks ....I tell them to stop ...I just seen a bear ...Where they say ...We get out and I am trying to tell them where it is but they can not spot it ..after a few minutes they finally see it ...they can not believe I just spotted this bear at that distance out of the back seat of a Toyota   :chuckle: anyway I tell him to get out his range finder and he ranges it ...he tells me it will not range it because he is maxed out at 400 yrds .. :yike: So I told him to range something at 400 so I can judge it from there ..he is like ...your crazy ..that bear is way out of range  :bdid: I told him I was going to take one shot at it and if I hit low you will see it hit the rocks ..they are O.K ..WHATEVER  :chuckle: after giving me a mark at 400 I decide it was waaaaaay out there ..but I know my gun and I have faith in my reloads  :dunno:( Hornaday of course ) :chuckle: :chuckle: I find a stump just on the other side of the guardrails and lay my pack on it ...I get all settled in and tell them I am putting the bears back at the bottom of my scope ..they are just laughing and thinking I am nutz  :dunno: I tell them to watch closely to see where I hit ..the bear is broadside So I lined up his front leg with the center peg of the crosshairs and raised it up until I had just a little hair above the bottom of the scope and squeeze ...POOOOOOOOOOOW ......the bear does not move ..they are telling me , we did not see anything you missed !! I am like what ..you never seen the bullet hit ...NOPE !! The bear is still there and when I decide to jack in another the bear just takes off like someone slapped it in the butt ...  :dunno: Mind you ...we talked for like a minute before the bear decided to take off ..So we talk it over and decide I flat out missed ...we load up and head down the pass ...after going a couple miles I kept thinking to myself why did he just take off like that ..especially way after I shot ...no why he knew what was going on and that distance ...I tell them to turn around I need to go take a look ...they are freaking out ...your nutz ..you did not come anywhere near that bear ...I said you maybe right but something seemed weird to me when he took off like that ....They beach about it for a minute or 2 and take me back ..after looking at it again ..we are shaking our heads knowing this was one shot that probably should not have taken place ...but I know I have pulled some long shots in my time and this one was definitely  the longest ....I load up the mag with 4 bullets and head out while they sat on the road guiding me up the hill and threw the timber ...I had my orange on so they could see me good ...once I broke threw the timber I looked at them in my Binos and they are pointing me in the right direction ...they look like peese ants sitting on the tailgate .. :chuckle: :chuckle: it has taken me about 25 minutes to get to where I was standing and I had about another 250 to 300 to go up hill  :yike: I remember the bear being on a ledge and it was standing in front of a big flat face rock ...I look up the hill and I see it ...I get there and work my way threw a harry spot and as I pull myself up onto the ledge I see the flat faced rock is seriously splattered in blood  :o :dunno: :yike: I get up on the ledge and see blood everywhere ...I just sit there in awe ! To be truthful I do not know how long of a shot this was but it was waaaaay out there ...I know my .270 loaded with a 140 gr Hornaday shooting about 1 1/4 high at hundred using the center of the bottom peg is pretty much on at 500 yrds ...I done my experimenting back in the day with a 50 gal drum ...did not have all this high tech stuff back then .... :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: So what I am saying it was around 6 to 7 hundred  :yike: shooting groundhogs in PA as a kid paid off and of course I need to thank my dad who taught me how to run a rifle ...This is why I am a varmit hunter ! If you want to shoot long distance get your rifle and start hunting ground squirrels - rock chucks and coyotes ..it will definitely make you a better shot ...here is a prime example why I am a hardcore hornaday fan ...I hit this bear behind the front shoulder and it blew right threw him at that distance ...I do not know if it was the bullet weight or how the bullet was made ..or both ...but it has been the perfect combination for me and I will never change ...I just love the 140 gr out of a .270 ...I load 54grs of IMR 4831 and I never had any problems with bullets holding up and any distance ...

Wow...I let this one fall behind some ... :chuckle: :chuckle: I woke up this morning and looked out side ...Man it is the Perfect day to be out bear hunting ..over cast and cloudy and has even cooled off a bit ..I thought about going out today but I was not ready yet ...So today I will start gathering up all my things and getting ready to start hitting it hard starting next weekend ....I like those 1st 15 days in September !!! I am pumped to actually go this year ...I need to get Ted on a good one this year So hopefully that Big Fat Cinnamon shows his face this year .....I may even give the .270 a rest and let him pack the 300 WSM ...Speaking of which I best get my butt out in the garage and load up some ammo ...and the ammo of choice will be  :dunno: :chuckle:  180 Hornaday interlock  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: Maybe I will change the heading to ( Compliments of 180 gr Hornaday Interlock )  :hello:

Just got done with another chore ...just loaded the 300WSM for the 1st time  :yike: even though I had to get help from members to gather all the supplies ... :dunno:   Now I need to get time to get some rounds fired down range ....Hopefully I guessed right on the load  :yike: :yeah:  I loaded 180gr Hornadays with 66.1 gr of IMR 4831... I never had much precise loads with even numbers So we see how they do !

They sure are Pretty !!!

For those who do not know I want you to look at the picture of the bullets ! You notice the ring (retension ring ) around the bullets ...this is why I shoot Hornaday bullets ...that ring makes all the difference in the world for holding a bullet together on impact !!  :twocents: just a little education for the beginners  :chuckle: :chuckle:

I have to agree with you BH45, My dad taught me to reload at ten years old. & he swore by hornaday.  He too loved shooting the 140 grn btsp. And he also shot 55 gr of IMR 4831  out of his 270. I cant begin to recall all the deer and elk he has shot with that load. And many were touching 400 yards. He also shot his Alaska Brown bear with that load.

Glad to here it ... Not bragging or anything but I too have pulled some of the wall shots with a 140 gr Hornaday ...Some were so far most would not believe it  :chuckle: but I have witnesses  that I tell the truth at all times  ;) I just give solid information and if it did not work for me I would not pass it on to someone else ....Not saying there it not other good bullets out there but I know how Hornaday has gotten the job done for me and I am not changing for nothing !  :chuckle:

Hopefully I can get some good footage with them hard at work !  :yeah:

O.K I Guess I will call this the Hornaday Thread   :chuckle: I know I named it after the 140 gr but since all I shoot is Hornaday I will make it compliments of the 140 and Now 180 gr... :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: I never loaded for the 300 WSM until now ...and I guarantee you right now I will be loading a sheeeet load more  :dunno: Once I got her dialed in I shot a 3 shot group ...waiting about 5 minutes in between shots So the barrel cooled ...Once you learn how to squeeze a trigger you never forget  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: reason I threw that in was because I have not shot a rifle in months and sometimes a guy can get a little rusty but not the case here ! So I have all our stuff packed for our bear hunt tomorrow ...As long as Teddy gets his butt out of bed we are in for a nice hike tomorrow morning ...I am actually really pumped because I know if the blueberries are ripe in my honey hole something is going to die and the way that gun is shooting I seriously feel sorry for whoever wants to step inside those crosshairs .... Ted will be my shooter and I will have my video camera ...hopefully we can talk the talk ...

Well the bear god took care of us real quick this morning ...

We wake up about 4am this morning and had everything packed in the truck last night ..I just had the same feeling I had many times before ..knowing where we were headed and if we had blueberries and Oregon grapes ripe we would be killing something ...I love to hunt bear in September but I figured I would have to go at least 2 days to get the job done ...NOT !! :chuckle: We get up to the area I wanted to be and parked the truck at about 6am ...we hike up the ridge where we could see good ..my lower spot has gotten to grown up so I had to re-locate ..which was no doubt a good Idea ! I found a nice big stump and started trimming some branches so we had a better view of the area below us ...I happened to turn my head and look down hill when I seen bushes moving about 200 yrds below me ...all the sudden there he is ...BIG BEAR !!! I tell Ted to load the 300 quickly  :dunno:  I then tell him he is right below us ...Teds like WTH ! I get up to Teddy and tell him he is a big one and he is right down there ..Teddy gets all excited as the bear pops out on a log ..DAD DAD HE IS BIG  8) I am trying to get the video camera set up when Teddy is saying I am shooting ...I said wait a minute ..we are not letting this hunt go by without footage  :chuckle:
The whole time I am trying to find the bear in the camera he is saying ..can I shoot can I shoot ...No no no ..I do not have him in the screen  :bash: :bash: Then I got him dialed in and the game is on ...I tell him to calm down and when you see his front shoulder let him have it ...That took about 8 seconds and POOOOOOOOW ... A serious dirt for that bear !!! He went no where  :yeah:  it was awesome ...Finally got his 1st bear and it is a dandy ....Dark chocolate and a beautiful hide ...super thick hair and fat one to boot !! I have video and many pictures including the recovery of the bullet lodged in his far left shoulder ...180 gr Hornaday just layed the smackdown on this bruin  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Ted said Thankx ! He is pretty pumped about his bear ...the bear will go a hair over 6 ft ..and today I will be home taking care of the meat ...This bear had 3 inches of fat on him already ...and the hide was flawless which I was a little surprised for still being a little early yet ...He is going to be a good one to eat ...Plum full of blueberries and Oregon Grapes ...they had that hill all torn up ! The berries were ripe for a week or so now ...That 300 WSM and 180 gr bullet done a fine job ...as you can see in the video the bear went NOWHERE  :chuckle: This is why I preach about a perfectly placed shoulder shot ...I hunt in some serious brush piles and when I get there I want him to stay put ...that bear took a dirt nap right now ! my body hurts from packing out that bear  :chuckle: But it was all worth it ...it was a quick hunt but it usually is in this spot ...if there are berries there are bear ...I will have to tape some of the video with my phone because it takes to long for me to put it on a CD and I am not in the mood to do that right now

Here is the reason I prefer Hornaday bullets ...when you can blow threw shoulder bone on a bear and your bullet holds up like this one did , why shoot anything else  :dunno: :chuckle: and at 246 yrds !

Here is a layer of fat I peeled off of him ...it was about 3 inches thick !

That thick stuff is full of blueberries and Oregon grapes ....I stepped in bear sheet about every other step  :chuckle: But its like that all the time ....when there is food to eat ....I have at least 100 bug bites on my bald head  :chuckle: and a huge welt on my left ear ... We went to war for that damn bear ...just got it all cut up and I weighed the meat at 106 pounds and some odd ounces ....that's boned meat ...and I cut off another 10 pounds of fat....I know I carved off another 60 when I was bonning him out ........Summer sausage he will become

I have never hunted bears in berry patches like that so it cool to see. All mine are in the timber or spring time up there. Nothing really for berries around my hunting areas. Kinda funny to see him tunneling threw those patches.
