My female 2 1/2 yr old gsp hates crotch rockets and Hondas with fart pipes. She'll jump up outta her sleep spin around a few times and then start trying to digg. That's about the only thing that scares her. Not a big deal but I do feel bad. Dogs will be dogs I know but just wondering if anybody could comment on the subject.Does your dog do this?

No but I do. Sissy cars

My setter hates motorcycles. Goes nuts when he sees them. But he's fine around 4 wheelers :dunno:

Never had a dog that was bothered by anything but the garbage truck. Not scared, just po'd.
Had a Fearless male lab that hated the vaccume though, you fired it up and he was outta there.
He was flown out here from PA at 8 weeks and I always wondered if he related that sound to the jet engine which probably scared the pi** outta him. That theory is likely male bovine feces too.

As far as the elk and deer are concerned it was not one of them so life goes on. They will not abandon the area just because a predator is there.

Most dogs worth their salt hate motorcycles to some degree. My gordon setter would get enraged when bikes pass us on the freeway.
A long time a go a friend of mine rolled up my driveway unannounced on his crotch rocket. The cattle dog I was fostering came out ( he wasn't unsupervised) and bit my buddy on the leg - he was wearing shorts and the dog gave him quite bruise. Anyway he is still butt hurt about the whole thing some ten years later - I guess some people take getting bit by a dog personally, like it was premeditated or something. I told him he would stand a better chance of not getting bit if he wore a cat-fur suit with a t-bone steak strapped to his leg rather than rolling up unannounced on a motorcycle.
