Still scouting around... learning some stuff...
Went up to Hyas Lake not this past weekend but the previous (June 28th and 29th). Scouted the grass flats around the Southwest shore at dusk Friday evening and Dawn Saturday morning.
Didn't see any Bears, but did see some sign.

I been scouting alot too. Berry's are coming on here :)

When you take a photo of bear poo or tracks, you might put something down on the ground for size reference.

That pistol must have belonged to the bears last meal. I'm surprised how clean it is, must have passed it quickly! :chuckle:

I agree, all poo pics need a reference. The first pic is the biggest poo pile ever, it was like a big loaf of bread. Sure wish I could find a pile with a pistol in it though, that would be sooooo cool!

That is not a pistol. It is a revolver. A Ruger Redhawk with 5 1/2" barrel in 44mag to be exact... :chuckle: And yeah,.... It is very clean for having been in the proximity of poo.
Little poo = Little bear.
Big poo = Bigger bear.

I didn't know until know that a revolver isn't a pistol. I looked it up and the internet agrees with you, so you must be right!

I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking, I too have a revolver. A S&W 629 in 357 Mag. with a 4 in barrel. It's the same mistake as referring to our firearms as weapons. :bdid:
