I am curious, because of the recent conversation in the New Pack thread, what some different people's pack weights are, what they carry in their packs and what they carry in their pockets, and stuff like that. Anyone want to tell? And if you can, please be thorough.

Sorry, I did not realize one like this had already been done. I haven't been on this forum that long. But thanks for telling me and giving a link, I like to learn all I can about that sort of thing in order to be more efficient. :)

My pack weight for seven days of mule deer hunting in September with everything included but the clothes I wear hiking in, is right at 40 lbs.
I carry a Leica spotting scope and my rifle weighs just under 10 lbs.
If I hunt with my brother, we share a rifle and spotting scope most of the time and I carry about 35 lbs.
