a good friend of mine has this tag and is having trouble filling it. any advice would be appreciated

I think ridgeratt knows something about that unit, try sending him a message, Mingo filled a tag there already so you might try him, I think the best bet is to wait till there is a little snow on the ground, I have a feeling the bulls may be becoming tougher to find now as the rut winds down.

start focusing on their winter feeding grounds, look for south facing buckbrush clean cuts. as the the winter gets closer the moose will start yarding up. you will see lots of bulls together in the cuts.
