PETITION ALERT: Where to Sign I-591: Protect Our Gun Rights
People who would like to sign I-591: Protect Our Gun Rights need to know where they can find the petitions. There are some retail stores and other locations that have petitions available, but many people do not know where they are. If we are to ensure success of this petition drive, we need to help connect the people with the petitions.
An official location list apparently does not exist at this time, so we must start our own. If we get an official list at a later date we can add that to our list.
If you know where people can go to sign the petition, please post the information in this thread. We need to do all we can to help in this effort.
Please give the information as follows:
City: (this will be first so people can look for a location near them)
Store or business name:
Address:
Information provided by: (your forum name)
Please inform other people where they can go to sign the petition and/or invite them to this post to find a location near them.

Time to dig out the wallet or the credit card and kick in.
I already did, down at the Puyallup gun show. Your turn.
I-591 backers’ website now open for business
The Protect Our Gun Rights (POGR) coalition’s Yes on 591 website is up and running, and like all such sites has a way for gun rights supporters to contribute to the cause, and in this case, every dollar will count considering the war chest they’re facing from the Seattle group now pushing a 15-page gun control measure.

I am here at WSU and to my surprise, there is a young gentleman at the entrance of the CUB taking signatures for I-591. Almost didn't sign because I thought it was the Anti one at first glance.
-
Oh yeah, almost forgot to add, he had a good amount of signatures.

Do not sign twice; that would invalidate your signature.
ghosthunter indicated the original petition was sent in anyway.

Are there any new petition locations we can post?

There's a table in the Showplex at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Signatures for the the I-591 petition were being collected. This is the main building that the WAC gun shows are held. If you are going to the fair and have not signed, be sure to stop in.
I can't recall the organization attending the table, but they had many conservative causes/people supported, so it was probably a Pierce County GOP organization.
Look in the middle of the rows, about by the south bathrooms.
-
We haven't received any new locations for a while. Keep them coming and keep this on your radar.
-
Signature collectors were all over Spokane Community College this morning.
-
It's almost November.
Get on the ball andget those petitions signed.
Ditto, if you haven't contributed to the I-591 effort, now is a good time. Don't expect some sugar daddy to come in with a bundle of loot like the other side has.
So far, finds are really all local. The NRA has not provided any funding — they've been rather busy in Colorado and Virginia fighting Bloomberg there — so don't wait for them to jump in. Five, ten or more dollars ... If each member of the Washington Arms Collectors alone contributed $10, that would come up to more than $190,000, and that's a ton of money.
Some people estimate there are more than 100,000 NRA members in the state and 1 million gun owners. If each of them kicked in $10 apiece, well...do the math.
