Title: East Wenaha or Tucannon Muzzleloader or rifle elk tag holders
Post by: bigassbull on July 21, 2013, 08:25:35 PM
Hi, My name is Beau and currently taking over for Grande ronde Outfitters dba Wilderness Expeditions LLC and looking for Muzzleloader and rifle guys who'd like a big bull for that special tag. I'm in the Wilderness, living at the base of the blues and watching the elk grow weekly! There are some nice bulls this year folks! The mild winter permitted early and substantial antler growth and boy am I excited about it! You should be as well. Looking forward to chatting with you holders of tags and non holders alike, let's talk elk!

Maybe clarify what part of the tucannon and east wenaha units you will be allowed to legally guide/outfit in? Obviously there are big bulls in both units but some parts of the units are better than others no doubt.nwhunter

Beau is down there in the wilderness right now and will get back to you and answer your questions as soon as he gets service.

He has a banner ad on the "ELK" forum with his phone number. Give him a call and leave a message with any questions. If you can't find it it is 509-307-3088

I just got off the phone with Beau. He's spending one more day on horseback in the East Wenaha and putting in a couple more trail cameras. He'll be out and on the way back to Yakima tomorrow night. He said he'd get on here and post Saturday at the last and apologized for any inconvenience.

So do you have boundaries within the wenaha and tucannon that you have to stay within or do you get to legally guide throughout the entire units? I know when Wick had a concession he was pretty limited in where he could guide in the east wenaha.

Hi Nwhunter, yes I have to stay within my boundaries as do other guides!

Beau's a great guy. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about big bulls and bucks. If you have a tag for any of his units, don't hesitate to contact him. He is a great resource for us on Hunt WA. Welcome to the site!

Rumor has it he is being held captive by a family of dwarf Bigfoot somewhere in his unit.

Actually it's a pack of bigfooted dwarfs. :chuckle:. He's actually headed back to Yakima this weekend after checking cameras and working out the stock this week.
