That is impressive. How does the velvet get preserved?

Zombie deer! :mgun:
Cool that it can be done that way, tho- very unique.

Wow!!!! great looking mount.
-
Very cool, I am not a big fan of velvet but that is a good looking mount.
-
I'm used to mounts that are either full velvet or stripped clean, I really like the uniqueness of that mount, great buck too.
-
That's definitely something different right their ,,,,Sweeeeeeeeeet ...Dandy buck
-
Awsome mount
-
That looks really cool. Who was the taxi?
-
I killed the buck the way it was saved..he was probally hours or even minutes of stripping it all off. I had pics of it and sent them to taxi and he replicated the blood on antlers from pics. The pics really dont show all the detail. Sylvester taxidermy did the work in Spokane

Looks great

Wow I've never seen one like this, that is too cool looking. I love the unique and well done mounts.

Wow you wont see that everyday! Thing thing looks great! It would be cool to see an elk done the same way.
-
or a big Shiras moose! be really cool
That is the next mount coming from him this fall..In a pose that many have never seen before and a pedestal
-
I really like the velvet look, he looks just like he did in your field pictures. What day of September did you whack him?
I am glad that the cape turned out so well. Very unique with the summer cape as you said.
-
Very cool, I am not a big fan of velvet but that is a good looking mount.
:yeah:, But that is an awesome mount. Very cool
-
Sept 6th I believe..fur on cape had just started to turn into fall mode as the guard hairs were in and out of that summer coat. He has some scars..there one under neck and chest..pretty large. The red on antlers isnt as bright as photos show..flash made it out that way.
Taxi took some outdoor photos of the buck...Ill put those up when I see them. He looks nice next to my trifecta of big WA bucks :chuckle:
I have the whole hunt on film too and its looking like its not going to get used for TV now as things fell thru
-
Great buck! Very cool mount!
-
Pretty awesome to mount him that way. tells a story all by itself about deer and deer hunting
-
Awesome!
