If i ever graduate and get a real job ill be hitting you up. nice work. great looking call.
-
Thanks X.
Build note: The Acrylic goes 3/4" into the antler, so does the Maple. The Maple is a full inch wide, but most of the piece is inside the antler. The Acrylic is a core inside the Maple. So the call is 3 layers thick at the neck.
The Antler bell is hollow clear through and is an excellent resonating chamber.
The Maple band has excellent flash and figure too.

looking good steve see you tomorrow. Rick

That is a nice looking call Steve, if I could afford one right now I would buy one. I really like the wood one you gave me, that is what I used to call in that coyote I told you about. I also wanted to tell you that I went and shot my rifle two days later and it was off by four inches left and about four inches high at 100 yards. I estimate that coyote was about 150-200 yards away. That kind of explains why I missed the first two and hit it bad the third shot.

Wow Bigswede... That's quite a ways off, especially when you're gonna get 300yd shots regularly in that kind if country. Good thing you're getting it dialed in. You'll be all over 'em in no time!
Waitin' for you, Rick! Bring me my Evil Black (well, camo) Rifle!!!
Here's a couple calls that are still for sale...

Maple Burl / Pecan / Red Spacers. KO board. 9" overall.
$30 or best offer.
This call is nice enough for a handmade board, but I don't have any more 1 1/4" delrin :duh: and the 5/8" board sticking out of this call just looks silly. The KO looks good, and as everybody knows, sounds excellent and plays easily.
Sale on Hand Painted, Hand Flared, PVC L-O-U-D Open reed set!
