Just a heads up that our state specific Google earth maps are on sale at 25% off during August. These maps are usually $40 dollars and overlay public lands, private land owner names, trails, hunting units, etc. right in Google earth. We have found that these are a great tool for scouting at home and printing out your own maps for use in the field.

go4steelhd,
We create an online account for you. All of your maps are stored on our server and you can download the map file to your computer for use. If your computer crashes or you get a new one you can always log back in to your account and get access to your maps again.

And I can download the sat images to my 655T?
-
Can I download them to my laptop and then transfer them over to work on my 450t.

The Google Earth map is only viewable in Google Earth it is not compatible with GPS units, two different software systems, sorry.

Bought mine!

So once I save it to my computer I will not need an Internet connection to view the whole state? Zoom in and out and scroll around?
-
I believe that you always need internet access to view the satellite imagery part part of Google Earth, but our layers/map will always be viewable even without internet access on Google Earth.

What about a tablet. Do you know if its compatible with that type of system?

I bought this last night, using the coupon. So far it looks very good. It is unfortunate that Google Earth is as unstable as it is; to avoid freezes, it is best to turn off as many layers as possible (while still making the service useful).
The cost? I don't know about others, but the price of this product equates to about a 1/2 tank of gas for me to go scout some new territory. I think that I have repaid that gas bill in just a short while this morning, scouting new areas. :)

Wonderful, now I no longer have to flip back and forth from base camp and google earth.

I know some people have got Google Earth to work on their tablets with our maps, but I've heard others who can't. We don't have enough experience with it to know for sure. Depends on how tech savvy you are I guess.
We haven't done our big announcement yet but we did just release a specific app for iPad. Check it out here for more details on this program:
