I think the forum has delayed echo syndrome. ;)

It's about time. :hello:
-
Saw one at sun lk. in july It was 104 outside. :yike:
-
That does not look like moose country! Cool to see them spreading around though!
-
Cool pic hope they make it to the coast
-
Was it in the Peaches side or the Teanaway? Only heard of them in the teanaway but it looks to be in Peaches?
-
Great to hear, I have pictures of 3 different moose in the cle elum area, ones a nice bull, from a few years ago
-
Cool Pic's

Yep, they're becoming abundant in the Cle Elum area. In fact that's one of the moose hunts I applied for this year.
-
Stevens pass area has them also.

And you didn't get drawn? You were most likely the only applicant.
-
I've seen them in the Methow too. Way cool, thanks for posting!

No I didn't! I was just as surprised as you. I didn't hear of anyone else applying for it so thought for sure I'd draw with my 17 points. :dunno:
I wonder if the Yakamas can hunt the Cle Elum moose?

I drew the only tag this year. Obviously, with the hatred people have towards those lucky enough to draw I haven't wanted to post about it. I can tell you that it went 50+".
PS - I drew with two points. Doesn't that just prove how bad our draw system in Washington is?
-
YES, yes it does
-
Really Bob? You drew a moose tag?
-
Only two points and you drew it? That's just not fair! :bash:
This will be my last year hunting this state. >:(
-
I know this will rile up some members, but I guess I'll just go ahead and post one picture anyway. Let the complainers and internet sheriffs have at it. One thing: I took off my orange vest before taking the picture.
-
Long arming again Bob?
-
No way that moose goes 50"+. I am no expert scorer, but on Hunt Wa I pretend to be. :chuckle:
-
That is an OK moose. If I ever draw moose, my bull will put this one to shame. :P
I assume you spent thousands on a guide and the guide is the one taking the pic.......... :dunno:
-
No way does that high fence bull make B&C Bob. Besides I heard it really came from the Selway.
-
I forgot to add, Where is the Mossback water mark?
-

I'm not going to share my honey hole but this was taken less than one mile from downtown Cle Elum, completely DIY. I set the camera on a tripod for the photo.
-
that is just awsome bob thanks for finally sharing the pic and story.very nice to hear and see.

I figured that. I used to have trailcam pics of him along with his buddy that is much bigger. I sure hope I can draw that Cle Elum permit one day before the wolves get to the really big one. :o

I saw five wolves the day I killed my bull. Good luck on drawing that permit before the herd goes downhill.

:dunno: You got me, theres no moose mentioned in our regs? guess I'll have to check around.
-
Heres what the bull looked like in Cle Elum 5 years ago, and heres a picture of the cow that was hit in town last fall
