Title: Toad of a Blacktail just finished (Charlies Taxidermy)
Post by: bucklucky on August 23, 2013, 08:07:18 AM: This buck was killed in the 70's in Northern California and was restored by the owner of the buck . Its hard to compare these little blacktails to our Washington bucks but they are just unreal. Tis buck was hard to take pictures of because of the extras. He has a wicked cool split g-4 on his left side and a inline extra on the right . Enjoy!

But looking at an animal like that does bring an awareness to the value of mounts to hunters who can appreciate the beauty of such a buck, even in a mounted form. That is a very handsome buck and I would think someone would be proud to display it and recount the story behind it. :twocents:
