Title: Bear on In-Laws Property
Post by: Mike N. on August 23, 2013, 05:56:40 PM: I've never hunted bear before, but I'm thinking about it after seeing this bear by my in-law's chicken coop. Looks pretty big to me, but I don't know much about them. What do you think, should I be buying my first bear tag?

By the way, no chickens were harmed during the taking of this picture.

After talking to a neighbor a couple parcels down, they said that this particular bear has been trapped and relocated a couple of times to a watershed area a couple of miles away, but always finds its way back.

Back on topic though, that bear is a fat a**. Wonder what the big lump on his back is?
