Title: eastside to west
Post by: Rodney107 on August 25, 2013, 09:35:50 PM
I have a area I want to hunt in a west side gmu but the only way I can get to it is from a eastside gmu question is there is a cross with blacktail and muledeer  we have seen some 2pt bucks up there pushing 26 inches wide will I get in trouble bringing 1 back through a eastside gmu  question 2 it says in the regs that and deer west of the pct is considered a blacktail so a muledeer 100 yards on the Westside of the pct is considered a blacktail  :dunno:

I don't see why it would be an issue. It's a common occurence to have an animal transported through other GMU's, some of which may not have an open season for that particular animal. I would think that if a game warden was suspicious, he could ask you to show him the gut pile to verify the unit from which it was taken.
