Heard through the grapevine that about 3wks ago a Spokane Tribal Member shot and killed a 30lb wolf. It was aged at approx 6 months old. This means there was definatley another litter this spring for the Huckleberry pack.

:yeah: Yep, I heard about it as well. Supposedly the young man claimed it was coming at him and he had to shoot it in self defense. I've also heard of a couple others that were shot and wounded.

well can't the natives legally shoot them? :dunno:

If they aren't fed listed and they have a management plan. I'd like to harvest a wold but they are still fed listed in C. WA. Otherwise I'd have a rug or headdress or two.

i heard the tribe was making a management plan this spring when one was snared! so they may have put seasons on them, i have heard that the wolf lovers offered the colville tribe some big money in form of a mangement plan that says they only kill a few! just things i heard can't confirm!

I just heard from an enrolled friend of mine on the Spokane Indian Reservation that they are allowed to Harvest one wolf per household for enrolled members. Hopefully they all get one!

I hope they take care of them before the population gets too big and one per household hardly makes a dent in the population. Go get 'em!
