So my 1 month soak turned into just a 5 day soak.. This was the first time I've put out salt so I hadn't really thought about how long the elk would stick around in front of the camera. I had the cam take a pic every 10 seconds...that is way too much! the SD card filled up with pics in the first 5 days with pretty much the same animals. I was kinda bummed about that but I did get some good pics. I'm looking for a big bull but only got pics of cows, calves, spikes, and some 2 pts. I put in a bigger SD card and delayed the picture taking time too.
Look at how long those spikes are on that last spike!

Not much longer and you will have those bigger bulls with the cows that you have on cam. Where the cows are, the bulls will be shortly, if not now in some places.

in the second picture I think there is a bull next the spike in the water you can see the top of his antler.

Yeah it is a small 3 pt. unfortunately, that's the only pic I have of it.
