Title: 380 is expensive
Post by: splitshot on September 03, 2013, 09:02:50 PM
9 mm is $14 per 50, 40 cal is $19 per 50 and 380 is $22 per 50?  the 40 is the biggest and the 380 is the smallest.  this does not make sense.  why?    mike w

normal price for .380 ball, (this year), when you can find it, should be about 18$/box.  .40 should be about the same price. 9mm shouldnt be more than 12$/box.. if prices are much more than that I'd shop around. one of the biggest drivers of ammo prices is quantity.. Rounds like 9mm that they make massive quantities of will tend to be cheaper than rounds they dont make much of.. if you doubt me price .410 shotgun shells, compared to 20ga or 12ga (which you know have much more metal in them)..
