I set my cam out two weeks ago with 70% battery showing, should have been good for approx 35 days. I go out today and retrieve it and the battery is dead and I have not one new pic on there, as if the power had run out right after I set it. The batteries were definitely the ones I put in it, not tampered with. I've never had this issue with this camera, it's been reliable.

:dunno:
not sure...sorry to hear that. I am averaging about 20 pics/week on the highest quality setting, and getting about 70 days out of a new set of batteries.

What kind of batteries. some brands hate these frosty mornings.

I have the 6.0 infrared and getting at least 2 months on a set of batts, on the highest
quality setting, getting around 150 picture a night, using dura-cell batteries, nothing else. Something sure is wrong with yours, sorry.

Not sure what to tell ya about the batteries?? I set mine out here in August over a heavily hit wallow and had 616 pics in the first 4 days and it was out there for 2 weeks so it spent 10 days with dead batteries.... :bash: But it had taken plenty of pictures... :chuckle:

I know that my Moultries suck on battery life. :dunno:
-
They were Energizer's, seems like I've had issues with them in the past too.

All game cams wearout. I have had to send all my cuddeback's in at least once. I had one moultrie which didn't even make it to it's second placement. I would suggest bringing it home, and setting it up. Let it run, and see if it is the temperature or whether or not your camera needs serviced. Like all things, they do wear out and there are lemons. Battery life decreases by half during cold months in all my cameras. I feel your pain, this is not the time of year to have problems with the camera

Thanks all for the input.

Moultries vary greatly in batt life depending on model and temperature I have a flash cam and the lantern type batt wont last more then 2 or 3 days in cold weather 30's and 20's.Summer it will last all week.I have a I40 the ir cam still has the batteries in it since may.
