Got my first archery bear last week! Couldn't be more stoked about it. She was about 200-225 lbs and I hit her perfect broadside at 32 yards. I am shooting 64 lbs 31 inch draw with an older Hoyt Intruder. I am using 125 grain slick trick broadheads. They are amazing. Broke through ribs in and out of that bear and smashed rocks on the other side enough to ruin the head. Getting the meat turned into sausage. Cant wait to see how she tastes. The meat had zero odor to it.
I am new to the forum! Have a good rest of the season guys.

Nice work and welcome to the site!

Thank you guys! And ill be sure to let you know how the meat turns out.
I also see a lot of guys talking about little amounts of blood, she didn't start bleeding until about 80 yards from where I hit her. But I feel like razor blades do a better job than a bullet would for tracking reasons. ;)
