Anyone have any Rabbit hunting luck at the Scatter Creek area? Heading out there this week.

If anyone knows a good area near Seattle and would like a partner let me know.
Thanks!

Did ya have any luck?

a few but they seem to be on the up swing now as far as population
-
Craig, we have property north of there near Maytown. The rabbit population around our property is way way down this year for some reason. The last two years were far better.
Good luck.

Walked around the whole day last week at Scatter Creek. Didn't see Rabbits.

Anyone seen any action around scatter creek recently Rabbit wise?
-
Nope! I saw some doves but no rabbit :sry:
-
i hunted the scatter creek area at the end of last season and ran about 6 different rabbits, shot 2. seemed like a decent place to run a few, not a big area where the rabbits were, (i ran all of them in a 20-30 acre area) might try it again this year.

Did you see them in the open area or in the wooded part?
-
if i remeber correctly, it was on the back side of some briar patches, it was close to the woods, but not in the woods, i would see them as they went from one patch to another.. the same goes for most wildlife areas/release sites, they may run into the woods or more open areas. but normally are 10 feet deep in the briars....not wanting to come out.

Trying to picture where that is. Have any gps coordinates?
-
no i dont, i run gps on the dogs, but dont normally mark my location.
we ran down around woodland bottoms and got this one about 20 mins into turning loose, ran 2 more afterwards, only took the one so the young pup knew what they are trailing. (his first rabbit)
