Title: Mounting a Badger?
Post by: grundy53 on September 20, 2013, 06:01:09 PM: I would like to ask any of the Taxidermist on the site a couple of questions. I am planning a late winter trip to the Kuna, ID area to hunt coyotes, badgers, and fox. My first question is, are you allowed to mount a badger in Washington? I imagine you should be but I also know it is illegal to kill them here so I don't know if that effects the taxidermy side :dunno: :dunno:. Secondly I would like to ask about a rough price estimate for a full body mount and for a rug. I would really appreciate any info you can give me.

They are not. They are open to hunting year round.

For a rug your looking at $500.

Life Size will depend on the pose and habitat you want. Base Price is $635.

Correct. I should have specified that it is illegal to kill them while hunting.

ive been trying a little, but weather not cooperating. calling not successful. supposed to get new snow tonight finally... and my quad just broke :bash: cant get where i need to go to get after cats with my pickup
