Title: goats on calispell peak?
Post by: 724wd on September 22, 2013, 05:09:40 PM: took a drive with a friend and daughter up tacoma creek. up above the timberline, about 700 yards away on a rock face there was a pure white speck. binoculars made it look like a goat laying in the rocks. no other rocks that color in the area. are there goats up there?

interestingly, no moose/deer/elk/grouse seen! lots of rubs and a big wallow, but nothing moving while we were up there.

Post by: pendoreilleadventures on September 22, 2013, 11:34:29 PM: Yes there are a few goats up there i haven't seen them but a teacher from high school saw two up there about a month ago on the summit.
